What indigo did to The Night Mayor was the biggest waste of a villian since Tofee.

Psychopath's Playpen is good until the end where the author was too tone-deaf to realize that the proper way to conclude a story about someone being terrorized by a raging husk of a human being is to have said husk be killed off in a horribly degrading way (like Misery)

Equally great Disney show building up to a larger plotline they planned that got cut off before they could get to it (in this case one season) though it may come back

It's literally just Wander being tricked into eating a tide pod and experiencing pain for about a thousand or so words

Make your ending then.

Keep everything the same until Chapter 22, and include a prologue about a depressed Hater laying in bed for most of the day while Peepers' life hangs in the balance in the Skullship's ICU. While visiting him, one of the Watchdogs tells him that they found the secret planet. This gets a rise out of him, due to irrationally thinking Dominator is involved in it.

In the next chapter, the hostage situation is interrupted when one of Dominator's legs is vaporized from the knee down from a blast of lightning. This causes her to let go of Wander, and Sylvia takes him and gets the fuck out of Dodge. Hater then makes himself known to her and tells her something insulting before shooting her low in the gut and letting her bleed out.

The epilogue is split up into two parts; Hater talking to a recovering Peepers about how they'll move on to a new galaxy and make it their bitch, and Wander and Sylvia on some fun adventure when something reminds him of Dominator, but Sylvia reassures him that she's gone and they hug.

Ok now fix The Game.

It's just the revenge but from hater's perspective, at the end he wakes up and realizes It's all just a dream.
Bam, no stupid love story, no destruction of dominator's character and in the 1UP Girl prologue just take out Sylvala.

Change the main crux of the plot from Dominator becoming a good guy and giving her some trite backstory about how she really hates the universe for killing her mom or some shit to Dominator pretending to become a good guy, while secretly not changing at all so she can play the long con and stab Wander in the back later on.

This inevitably causes hijinks to ensue as Wander strings her along on stupid dorky adventures, which is an easy way to give the story its main comedic value, while also letting you flesh out Dom's characterization as she starts to get a better understanding of what Wander means by how companionship makes you truly happy (she could wind up honestly enjoying a moment with him, realize how miserable she is when not ruining shit while Wander's almost always in a great mood, etc.) while also finding that she's become so emotionally detached from the years of mass genocide and torture and what have you that she'll never really get to experience this in full.

It's a 7 part star vs fanfic that tales place after The game, the only reference to the game in the fic is that Wander and Dominator's Daughter is part of a team called the Valkyries that only appears in the prologue of 1-UP girl.
