Those are some sad losses, but the roster in 3 gives you a lot more variety on both sides.
2 was mostly flipping old assets, so it leaned heavily on Street Fighter and X-men.

Game had a very neat art style and wild story, it shouldn't be forgotten for what it is. Certain levels did have better game play or I liked more but it kept me going. Maybe if it was like level select such as BFBB to explore the level but it would probably change the game.

I saw the 3D ads for the console game as a kid and thought it looked really good, I ended up getting a copy but it was only for the PC and the pc version was just some sucky mini-games.

They didn't? I vaguely remember playing a Courage game when I was a kid where I think you travel through darkness with a flashlight and open doors or something. Then again, it was probably one of those shitty Flash games instead of a proper high budget PS2 game
