I had stumbled upon this arc being posted over a decade ago and was absolutely floored. It remains to this day my favorite Spider-Man story of all time. And finally, I picked up all the issues on eBay so I can forever have it in my collection.
In honor of this awesome arc, I’m going to Storytime Peter Parker - Spider-Man #44-47 (and then maybe a story after).
I didn't like it at first but it grows on me. Ramos' Goblin in particular I really enjoy. And thankfully he actually got a chance to draw the original costume as well.
A good friend of mine died a couple days ago. He was young, and the circumstances were tragic. He was sitting in his living room and started convulsing and then his lungs stopped taking in oxygen. He was pronounced braindead and was taken off life support soon after.
As much as it pains me to say, I believe this may have been a tragic drug overdose (but I decided not to pry any further). Osborn's sense of anger towards Harry is something that seems all the more relatable.
He started out on PPSM, Spectacular is a bit of a continuation of that, so it's probably better to begin with PPSM (considering the arc you're posting now is exactly from it).
I'm alright. It's just surreal more than anything. He contacted literally a couple days before it happened wishing me a happy birthday. Just want to know what happened but part of me thinks I already know the answer.
Peter looks so fucking done here. Like he's done this a million times before and quite frankly tired of it. He's not going to entertain this. It's why he took his mask off earlier.
I always have mixed feelings when it comes to stories that try to suggest Norman and the Goblin are two different people.
On the one hand, I like the idea, but on the other there are so many stories that contradict it that I'm also annoyed by it.

It's the least I can do. I've downloaded so many comics from Zig Forums that I feel like I have to give back. It's for this reason that I went out of my way to buy these single issues. It's a story that stands the test of time and will continue to be one of the better Goblin stories out there. If peeps are still around ill post Joe Kelly's Rhino story afterward.
Headcanon is that the degree of separation between Osborn and Goblin is entirely dependent upon how well medicated he is at that particular point in time. Less medicated, his dissaciation amplifies and his bipolar tendencies kick off. More medicated, he's a narcissitic monster that switches to "Goblin tactics" rather than a separate identity.
I hear a higher pitched Dafoe for Gobby. No particular voice for Osborn though.

This right here is one of the reasons I was willing to put up with Bendis and Dark Avengers so much.
The Green Goblin/Norman is an interesting character, but it's so rare for him to have ANY interaction with characters that aren't related to Spiderman.
I really enjoyed Dark Avengers (bought the omnibus) and seeing him treated as an Avengers level threat was interesting. In addition to being a cackling lunatic who is literally capable of anything, he's a world class weapon's designer and while I'm uncertain how it stands up to Starktek, it's still incredibly effective and trafficked around the world.
I like the style but the proportions are so off I can't handle it. Between Edward Elric dressed up as the goblin and Spiderman being a giant it's just too much.

>I came here with you What?
Did he mean to write "I came here to talk with you" or something?

I need to reread this Goblin story. I remember it being amazing.
Agreed, I just wish he was in the Goblin outfit for more of Dark Reign. I think Spider Island (the good one) had a page with Stark talking about the pros and cons of his Starktek and Norman's designs.
I guess I should give Ravencroft another chance at some point.
