Why this character trigger this site so much?

Because he looks really stupid.

Because he's black and he was created by Bendis. That's a double whammy Zig Forums trigger.

A lot of this board are racist basement dwelling fuck-tards.

He doesn't trigger Zig Forums as much as you think, this version at least
Rest of the site goes nuts

Idk, thought the movie was okay

>look, Spider-Man is black now
>"okay? I don't care"
>LOOOK HE'S BLACK SPIDER-MAN IS BLACK LOOK AT THE BLACK SPIDER-MAN LOOK AT HIM HE'S GETTING A MOVIE AND A GAME AND A NEW SPINOFF AND
>"fuck off dude I don't care about him"
>lmao epic trolled u triggered much fragile snowflake?

movie miles is fine
Its comics miles that triggers people

More than that though, he represents everything wrong with comics big "diversity push". He completely lacks a character of his own (in the comics) and simply exists to be "Spider-Man... but BLACK!" If he had been given his own character from the beginning and not just been a black peg in a white hole, people wouldn't have given a fuck.

>movie miles is fine
no

Because each time he’s mentioned Bendis gets shekels

Yes

>If he had been given his own character from the beginning
They could have made him a girl and called her black widow.

Yes

wrong reply, meant to

Because he's an A plus twink with ZERO fetish art.

Is that still a thing?

It’s the same character they just doubled down on the one thing that triggers actual fans, bendises cuck fetish pairing him with gwen Stacy

>same character

my fucking ass.
comic writers had no idea what to do with the character outside of being a Nigaspiderman.

The movie didn't lean heavy on him being plan, they wrote a kid and his story of being a hero.

THe comic is such a no character only people remember him are his stupid rants and fucking the shitty uncle final breath.

Comic Miles was lame. He was made so Bendis could self-insert his kids and masturbate to. Made worse by Miles being overpowered and having a boring personality. Although most of this was fixed after Bendis went to DC to go ruin Superman.

Movie Miles? He is awesome! But that is because the people making the movie weren’t Bendis. They even made Miles’s dad cool (instead of a black stereotype that abandons Miles. WTF Bendis?).

Basically Bendis sucks.

He's exactly the same in the movie, no major grievance fans have with Miles was addressed

The movie is more memorable, I can barely remember comic miles and never really felt 'rooting for him'. Movie did a good job

>comics double down on him being nigga spiderman
And this movies only major contributing change to the character “giving him an interest in graffii” changes that how?

Is it american thing?

Graffti is common in South east asia

I found him to be the most relatable version of Spiderman I've seen in the theater.
Tobey was good but kind of stiff. He did a good job and I have fond memories of seeing the first film on the big screen. But general nostalgia for the film doesn't make it immune to criticism. I never thought about hanging out with him whereas I'd love to be friends with Miles.
Andrew Garfield was forgettable.
Tom Holland is good, probably the best for the part of all the live action actors, but his character seems more 2 dimensional than Miles. And he's forced into the framework of the MCU.
Miles has a full emotional arc and his demeanor and attitude seem closer to me than the live Spideys.

>me have dark skin
>movie person have dark skin
>me find movie person relatable

His problem is that he's not terrible, so half of the people here go from neutral to like him and the other half goes from neutral to hate him.

That character didn't he was nearly universally loved even here and his movie won an Oscar.

Now if you're asking why the character he's based on triggers this site so much, it's because his introduction came on the heels of a very well-written and impactful send-off for a beloved version of a character and he had a ton of potential but instead ended up being a bland useless political statement of a character with basically no reason to exist which then set a trend for several similar character replacements not long after.

Miles as created and written by Bendis was a bland boring disappointment in every way, and ever source of media was constantly telling you how great he was and how much you should love him and it just got annoying as fuck. Thank god the character's found his way into the hands of competent people who know what they fuck they're doing, because pretty much every other version we've gotten has been stellar. Spider-verse, SM: PS4, and the current iteration of the character in 616 Marvel are all leagues above what Bendis gave us.

His problem is that he has no reason to exist, everything he's doing could and was done better by Peter.

Because he sucked in comics for like 8 years and still kinda does.

the reason is a word that rhymes with trigger

>he was nearly universally loved even here
lmao get the fuck out of here redditor

Nah, he's just a lazy creation and he's shoved down our throats. How come Black Panther, Luke Cage, Blade, etc never got the same multimedia push even before their adaptations?

Movie Miles is unbelievably based

I'm Scottish/Norwegian

Nah, he's just a lazy creation and he's shoved down our throats. How come Black Panther, Luke Cage, Blade, etc never got the same multimedia push even before their adaptations?

spiderman is more popular.

He disproves Zig Forums constantly saying "Miles Morales inherently can't have good stories because he's a bad character"

He did have his own character, but that was too difficult for Bendis to keep track of so he got lazy and started writing Miles as a younger Peter (who was already young as shit) and rehashing the same jokes and literally only made Venom Blast so OP because he hated writing fight scenes.

>Why this character trigger this site so much?
really? who?

He literally doesn't have a single good story because he's an inherently awful character

Zig Forums hates comics Miles
Movie Miles is cool.

>he's an inherently awful character
is just the writer (never blame the character)

Movie Miles is just ok, kind of got overshadowed by Peter being great.
comic Miles is shit

I don't like him, on the fact that he's black.

that's some stupid logic right there. Yes it's usually the writers fault some some characters are generally terrible

There are such things as inherently bad character ideas, Miles is a Coldsteel the Hedgehog tier character in that regard

and yet people love Spider-Verse

Just because he's in it doesn't mean it's his story
