Zoomers are now nostalgic for Zombie Simpsons...

>Zoomers are now nostalgic for Zombie Simpsons, blissfully unaware that it's unfunny and inferior to Classic Simpsons in every way
What went wrong? Why do Zoomers have shit tastes?

>entire episode based around a celebrity coming to Springfield
>celebrity is voiced by the real person
>pretty much just exists to shill said celebrity

Nah, classic Simpsons would never make an episode that shitty.

They got away with with it because
>It didn't actually show Jackson himself as this magical Willy Wonka character that farts happiness and rainbows everywhere. It was way more grounded than the Gaga one
>It was actually funny

But nobody actually watches Zombie Simpsons but mentally ill shut-ins who want to complain about the latest thing Lisa did.

What went wrong? Why do Zoomers have shit tastes?

wasn't there some confusion over whether it was Jackson at all for a while?

Except that episode was actually good, almost like it wasn't written like total dogshit, had a good brother/sister moment between Bart and Lisa, and was overall solidly funny.

There is still confusion to this day about whether Jackson did the singing or not. I think officially he had a stand-in, but as I recall from the episode commentary apparently he might have done some singing.

Stark Raving Dad is widely regarded as an example of doing this right precisely because he wasn't actually playing himself you fucking trip.

Funny. I just saw this episode.

what would realistically happen if dead bart was proven to be 100% real

He did the talking, not the singing.

>Actually made a nice memorable story around it
>Didn't actually even show michael jackson as a guest, he was just a va. They put the story first.
>What they didn't do is have MJ as a in character guest, and the entire Joke is that's he's MJ.
>"Look he has a diamond glove, isn't that craaaaazyyyyy??? [please laugh now]"

Officially, yes.

Kill yourself tripfag

whats the worst episode of the first five seasons

I'm a zoomer and i can assure you that at least in latin america this is not the case.
I think it is because classic Simpsons is still huge in latin america due to the original dub, to the point where Fox airs a classic simpson episode every day at 8 pm, realistically, spic zoomers have a higher chance to be nostalgic for old simpsons than for the new ones, specially because of Homer's VA change

No, never. The press accompanying the premiere of the episode was pretty explicit about it being Michael Jackson, the guy who did an album with the Simpsons the year before and was a known fan of the show.

>Bad opinion
>Tripfag
Every time

I assume you don't count clip shows because that's too easy.
I guess Krusty Gets Kancelled, The Call of the Simpsons, or Life on the Fast Lane.

>Krusty Gets Kancelled
Why?

The Otto Show

it's just one long ad for a VHS release of This Is Spinal Tap, which also starred Harry Shearer, who was threatening to walk at the end of the season and didn't think the show could sustain itself any longer

about a year after that he started recording his lines from home, because making $25 million a year doing silly voices is only worth it if you can work from home

oh and I forgot the best part

they didn't write enough script so there's literally 60 seconds of barely animated dead air at the end of the episode where nobody says anything

it's horrific

No they arent.
Youre just making shit up at this point.

19 year old zoomer here, i remember watching it after school and before dinner and have fond memories of that but most people arent really nostalgic or give that much of a shit besides that. The show started losing its relevance when we were young.

Kind of relevant to the thread discussion, it's bloated with celebrities and most of their jokes are "look it's [celebrity] look how wacky they are". The plot and jokes aren't especially good either. It's not an awful episode in the context of the whole show though, obviously.

What part are you referring to specifically?

>This episode logic of tormenting Gaga to please the demon goddess Lisa really make me fear because ''FUCK CELEBRITIES LOL''

No one is nostalgic for zombie Simpsons. Zoomies have their shows to get excited about, they're not concerned with some ancient show that's well past it's sell by date.

the part at the end where it's dead fucking air genius

>people are nostalgic for something they grew up with
>but because its not the thing you grew up with that means its bad
>YOURE NOT ALLOWED TO ENJOY THING CUZ NEW BAD OLD GOOD!

Your autism is at critical mass. Who gives a shit if people like thing you don't like? Why waste time on it? Just let people enjoy thing, sheesh.

Yeah but that doesn't fit the narrative.
