for sure they did. luckily its not as bad as preacher where the writers failed to understand the relationships between the characters and spent what little time they had together at odds.

I dont think we will see alot of stuff from the comic and im positive alot of the themes will get tossed out. they already changed Butchers back story and made him a bitch whose wife lusts for supe dick instead which kind of ruins the big reveal at the end.

Pretty much this. The show does a lot a like that's different from the original but I also miss some of the great stuff from the comic. Still enjoy both for different reasons.
