Who's the main character, what is their arc, and how would you be able to get audiences to relate to said main character?

I miss the RTS genre so much.
That said, some people are still modding Galactic Conquest and now they added he First Order and Resistance as sides.

There are no more RTS games because publishers care more about consoles, and RTS is essentially PC only. This applies to other styles and genres that dried up after the mid 2000s as well.

Nah. GW is too corrupted by Chaos for that to happen. If there ever will be a good cartoon, it won't be in our lifetimes.

I'm still hyped for that Tiberian Dawn remaster but yeah, base building RTSes are pretty much dead.

That and RTS aren't a p2w type of game so there is no way to milk costumers for money

In an absolutely perfect world and I had full creative control?
An anthology series that switches between multiple factions through the 40K universe, not strictly having a main character but going through and hearing stories of people/armies whatever in 40k, also having already written stories and simply animating them, to making new ones. Primarly the time period would focus on 40K but also going back to tell stories that take place before, 30k, Horus Heresy, War of the Heavens all that kind of shit. Though if you want me to dive into my autism for specifics, I think it would be cool to see a space marine go through the ages, becoming a dreadnought and seeing large amounts of history of 40k itself whether that would be a link to some stories, or be its own standalone I don't know, but nonetheless I think that would be cool.

no because it doesn't work as a drama because everything is set up to a satirically edgelord scale, doesn't work as a comedy because the edgyness hides the silly set up so much that even the fans don't recognize it unless the funny green men show up, doesn't work as an adventure story because the whole setting revolves around an immortal being who is more powerful than everyone and always wins so nothing matters and there are no stakes.
it only works as setting to have big armored dudes fire guns the size of cars at eachother, the setting gives no room for an actual story so it just revolves around endless war because thats how the game itself is set up.

Maybe? It’s a hard series to give a good cartoon or show since you can’t exactly make a show about a specific literally who rising to be the best in their respective faction without sounding like a Mary Sue.

I’d personally want to see an Anthology series like what said. Have it function like Love Death and Robots with how each episode is a different style for each faction and race. So having it be in a muted color palette be from the eyes of a Space Marine or Guardsmen.

I honestly don't see how much edgy it is, if you just don't show chaos its as "edgy" as Star Wars or Halo. People are fighting in a space war that's about it.

He's been a fucking vegetable for thousands of years and hasn't done shit but work as a "living" lighthouse for thousands of years because he got crippled in a fight. Plus it barley ever revolved around him, he's just a human and really the important shit was with the Necrons, Eldar and C'tan a millennia before Earth even existed.

I’m guessing he just knows surface level knowledge. Because you can make actually good stories in 40k. Either a crime thriller, a horror series set on a space hulk or blasted out ruins of a city or a comedy similar to The All Guardsmen Party.
