Is he really dead?

Nobody is dead. They're not real, they're AI copies of the people from Season 1[/url]. He's alive in the real world and never realized a copy of him lived on.

was he ever truly alive?

Since they changed servers, couldn't that mean there's a clone of Skeet and the rest of the main cast?

That version of him is. The real Skeet we barely saw in season one is fine.

So, can we all agree that Vanessa was best girl?

So we agree that digital Skeet is dead? Or there's a chance that a copy of him with memories will be rebooted to the server?

It's possible. But because that particular him wasn't affected by the glitch, he won't be self aware.
I find the ending kinda pathetic. The characters get to live a dollhouse reality full of actual NPCs and pretend that these cardboard cutouts matter to them.

Nope, he's gone. His death served to show how high the stakes were.

It's not like they have any choice.
Season 2 is pretty depressing, everyone is either suicidal or forced to make due with their terrible fate. There's only a veneer of cheeriness retained from season 1.

This was the most pointless and unnecessary 2nd season i've ever watched.

Kinda based move on the show's part to kill him off and have him stay dead. "Kinda" because he wasn't much of a character. They had to shoehorn him as a childhood acquaintance to make his death matter.

Season 3 will be about thier fantasy world falling apart

Reminds me of Don't Escape 4 where the characters try to escape doomed Earth by transferring their consciousness to an alternate Earth that isn't.

They are in a no-win situation: they can't go into the real world, and even if they did they hace nothing waiting for them there, they will never grow old in either world, their families are based of how they remember them instead of how they actually are, and they can still disapear if they company decides to take the servers down.
What can anyone do in those conditions?

Is better than the first season in every way.

Still more interesting than Infinity Tran 2.

He had self awareness, so yes.

The trio were real bros to make a grave for him. I wonder who ended up keeping his beanie. How many years until the five decides to do a suicide pact?

The MCs are superior AI, but they're still copied data themselves in the end.

The Hollow has more likable characters, but the philosophical questions asked were better executed in Infinity Train 2. Mainly the scene with Agent Mace talking to Tulip.

>suicide pact
>Implying they wont hack the mainframe and create a machine apocalypse for living beings instead

I feel like the five teaming up with their IRL selves and trying to bring down the hollow would be the next season or should be

I thought we were going to get something like that in this season, but was glad they didn't as all the real life actors they used didn't match well enough except maybe Adam's.

I find more interesting exploring what means to be an artificial life form struggling for survival. I haven't seen anything close that since ReBoot.

I think they might want to shy away from live-action because they'd have to dub the voices over the footage. Weird Guy was the only VA who played themselves in the live-action bit of S1.

Oh shit, I actually forgot about the live action actors for a sec.

Plues, Adam and Reeve still hate each other in the real world.

I thought the actors they got for Adam, Mira & Kai matched pretty well.
Less so for the other team.

The other team look like a bunch of 30-somethings instead of teenagers.

Why are Reeve and Mira the most annoying characters? I really hated them in the 2nd season.

>Mira
She's almost never shown in the wrong and never accepts when she does shitty thing like going Hollow games before them.
>Reeve
Nigga was in the right.

Reeve was a lot more likable in Season 2 once he mellowed out and we learned why he was so pissed, Season 1 he came off as a psycho.

Yeah I was still on the balance part when I said that Reeve wasn't really a dick after but I still think that he was causing a lot of problems due to being overly confrontational to Adam when it was really uneccessay mostly.
