Pretty easily the preacher look. Though it would need some modifications to suit his comic self.

The 3rd was actually looks scary

The first. The others are edgy.

Arkham Knight had the best scarecrow, as well as the best version of every character.

Nolan's Scarecrow was really underused

His whole gimmick is trying to scare the shit out of people. Edge works for him

>Best version of every character

I'll tell you that the shirtless hunchback tryhard version from Injustice 2 is the shittiest.

Because it's boring as hell and absolutely blows

At least his interactions are alright

his best scene in the whole trilogy was when he set batman on fire in the first movie
he was like a tertiary antagonist in all the movies

>Gets tased by the forgettable love interest like a geek and disappears from the movie in your path

Yeah but he has a toxin for that. No need to be even more edgy.

>They got Robert Englund to voice him but MK9 Freddy had zero fucking lines
Forever mad.

> Scarecrow should only ever rely on his toxin to be scary.
Then he's just a really weak, one-note character.

I didn't say that. But for this cartoon version I don't see the point in making him look more edgy. It's okay for the comics but here, the first was better.

What's the point of gassing him if you're just going to kill him 2 seconds later with the scythe?

Disorienting him so he doesn't have a chance to fight back?

You want those last two seconds to be as agonizing as possible.

You did';t need to. That's what he is (as a villain anyway) if the toxin's all he needs to be scary. Until Batman just whips out a cure. But sure. Maybe his third design was a bit much for a kids' show.

He's the master of fear you fucking soccer mom. He's not gonna half ass it and just give you a little fright.

I wished writers would partner him up with Mad Hatter more.

The preacher look is great when you realize Scarecrow is a country boy with an abusive but oddly sexy fundamentalist great grandmother.

Calm down, user, it's just a cartoon.

When's he gonna get that qt apprentice he's always wanted?

Fun fact, Scarecrow is the first villain Batman fights in the backdoor pilot for Batman the Animated Series back in 1985, which is found in the last season of Super Friends, which at that time had been re-titled: "The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians." The episode is called, "The Fear" and was an attempt to make a serious spin-off series about Batman and was written by Alan Burnett, who later went on to produce BTAS. In the pilot, Adam West plays Batman, and Scarecrow discovers that Batman is afraid of Crime Alley.

this scene was so lame but i still laughed when i first saw it

Is that Casey Kasem as the Robin?

He's really just a tiny yapping dog trying to act scarier than he really is and sucking at it. It's why he has to use his fear toxins as a crutch.

It is. He was almost Robin at one point for BTAS, since he had played the character for years in cartoons prior. So there was almost a version of BTAS with Casey Kasem as Robin and Adam West as Batman, using a Neal Adams, Batman style.

There's a whole story where he gets angry at that insinuation and goes on a terror rampage without it.

Hard to say to be honest.
Adventures of Batman and Robin Scarecrow is metal as fuck but there is something poetic about Scarecrow looking lame without the gas.

Ngl I thought that was the hallucination.

sorry gramps but that meme has already gone bad, its stale
you better throw it away
