No. Half the fans quit outright and the remaining fans are split between half not liking it, 25% being ambivalent, and 25% liking it.

Hiveswap should be at the forefront of the teams minds. Its been so long since we got an update and its one of the few things that could possibly regain fan intrest after the epilouge and ensuing trashfire that is homestuck^2 ruined it all.

Any fans remaining are foolishly clinging to hope even as the team systematically eradicates any semblance of said hope with every update. The worst part is that you can't really talk about it in public unless you want to get backlash from the bootlickers. This really does feel like a fandom's worst nightmare come to life.
I mean, at least it seems like they care about them to make up some backstories for them when Hussie couldn't be assed to do that. So, I'm cautiously optimistic about Befriendus. At this point, any kind of fanfiction is better than HS^2.

While I don't have screenshots of Twitter because I'd rather not risk dealing with that shit myself, many others have posted it. That said, I do have this from the new MSPA Forums. Essentially, you're not allowed to explicitly call out the writers for their shit. Whether this was done to appease them or so the admins don't get struck with the same fate as Makin is up to you, though.
