it's simple, it knows what it wants to do and does it without convolution things in 500 different subplots and shenanigans.

Lack of Dialogue and the setting and characters mean he ain’t gotta worry about a bunch of shit and can just make things happen through action
Spear and Fang are simple but expressive, genuine characters that can fit into scenes of carnage and chilling on a beach with equal ease

Furthermore they give zero shits. Man and dinosaurs? Fucking do it. Fang fights a giant spider? Hell yeah. Spear hulking out after drinking Akoolaid? It’ll be the bloodbath of the decade. Fucking zombie Littlefoot? Make that good shit happen. They opened themselves up to almost anything and still put their all into it

because by cutting out dialogue they can focus entirely on visual story telling, intense action and expressive emotion

its not obvious, but sometimes limiting or restricting your art, with rules like no one can talk, actually allows greater focus on the elements that you have left

Unstoppable and well executed action.

Not only it has amazing animation and action, it doesn't pretend to be something more grand than its premise, just a cavemen and his dino friend surviving
