A couple reasons,
1. Wakfu came in well after all those things had been mostly canned.
2. The dub is atrocious
3. Most studios were looking for 11 min minamal effort stuff they could have the full rights too
4. internet culture was well underway so anyone who wanted to see it pirated it so there wasn't any demand for it.

I think only 4kids was left by the late 00's when it came out, and by the time the dub rolled around, anybody that cared had already watched it.
I don't doubt it would have done well though, I remember getting a lot of people into it when I was in high school.

The World of Twelve is still around, what you saw being destroyed was Oreo's pocket dimension thing. The crew got stranded in the realm where the gods should be, Incarnam or something.

I did support the old first kickstarter, but that kickstarter only covered the first two seasons. So then I had nothing for season 3. And now they're doing a kickstarter for season 4 and I still won't get my hands on season 3?

The animated series already aired in France3 a few months ago. It was decent, not great but not bad either.

Yeah I'm aware. But you could argue that making something average is somewhat crummy in its own right. I'm very interested in the concept of Abraca but they haven't done anything interesting for it yet.

It's disappointing how watered down the project ended up being, granted it started around 2011 so I suppose Ankama making it more dull and safe over time was inevitable.

That's probably France3's fault, they keep telling Ankama to tone their show down. Part of it is why they need to crowdfund Wakfu in the first place
