What makes vintage 2D women so attractive?

Dunno, lol.

The way they're drawn I guess

horny boomers

Looks shorter and curvier than most modern sexy female cartoon characters. Somehow the the tall slender fashion model look became the standard of beauty.

Probably the same reasons that vintage models were so much more attractive. A greater beauty standard. These days we have to be inclusive enough that plain or unattractive characters are made so that women don't have "unrealistic" standards for themselves.

Also, just taste. Modern fashion and looks often seems lazier by comparison (for both genders)

Do pinups work for Zig Forums? They are technically illustrated mini stories, so it feels like they should?

Why are they so long?

I guess because they were made by men for other men, with the added class of yesteryear. Today's artists probably have a wider audience by default.

The 1940s look is seductive but not trashy. I like it

>Joker Magazine was a comedy-focused men's publication published by Humorama, which ran from 1942 to 59. The magazine editors were "very picky" about the girls they used for covers and would not accept any random staffer's girlfriend, no matter how sexy she was posed/dressed.

This was because someone tried to get them to run their horse face girlfriend, wasn't it.

Novelty?

Reflects life. They ate more normal things and were more mentally well without social media

Why is Daffy so damn smug in that pic?

The centaurettes were my first crush

goes the same for the taste of men. No tv or internet for your male friends to gain a ridged idea of what hot is. So you could probably get away with liking whatever you wanted? What would they know? Probably only a few hot girls in town.

Looks like they're in the Bay of Pigs amiright?

They're not drawn as THICC (fat and unhealthy) They're drawn in a very perfect proportions much like healthy curvy, fit women which is attractive.

Women being bad at things while wearing sexy outfits seems to be a genre.
Personally I'm more of a Man's Life man.
