Superman & Lois

How awful will this be?

Attached: 1589483003722.jpg (1080x1350, 309.34K)

>instead of Bendis's refusal to let Superman be a dad, show doubles down and gives him two kids who need parenting
Could be worse.

no one likes the plot of it or the actors and when it flops they are just gonna think superman doesn't sell

The Cast.

CLARK KENT / SUPERMAN (Tyler Hoechlin)

>The Man of Steel. After being fired from the Daily Planet, Clark leads his family back to Smallville to rebuild Kent Farm, balancing his duties as the Earth’s protector with his responsibilities as a husband and father, where he faces challenges as great than Kryptonite.

LOIS LANE (Elizabeth Tulloch)

>The world’s greatest reporter. Lois accompanies her husband back to Smallville, but remains employed by the Daily Planet. Between looking after her sons and adjusting to small town life, Lois uncovers a sinister conspiracy and sets out to learn the truth.

JONATHAN KENT (Jordan Elsass)

>Clark and Lois' elder son. Clean-cut, modest and kindhearted, with an old school attitude that somehow doesn’t seem dated. A star athlete who’s already garnering attention from college and pro scouts, and is eager to prove himself, no matter the challenge.

JORDAN KENT (Alex Garfin)

>Clark and Lois' younger son. A wildly intelligent loner with an inherent darkness to him, whose mercurial temperament and social anxiety limit his interactions with people. Consequently, he spends most of his free time working on computers. Jordan resents his father for his frequent absences, and feels like an alien in his own family.

Honestly all the cw shows have their ups and downs. If nothing else this is at least trying something different instead of just doing his origin and will they/won’t they with Lois.

LANA LANG (Emmanuelle Chriqui)

>A loan officer who stayed in Smallville when others left for something bigger and brighter. Lana is married to firefighter Kyle Cushing and has a daughter, Sarah. She re-establishes her friendship with Clark Kent during one of the most difficult periods in her life, struggling with Kyle's alcoholism and Sarah's depression, and is pulled into a conspiracy that threatens her life.

If Bendis was writing these two, they probably would have left little Jon to die in Argo during COIE, given how little they seem to care about his safety in his run.

KYLE CUSHING (Erik Valdez)

>Smallville’s fire chief and local hero, who’s seen his fair share of tragedy and often turns to alcohol to cope with it. He is married to Lana Lang and they have a daughter, Sarah. Small town raised with small town beliefs, Kyle doesn’t care much for the big city and often clashes with people that come from it, and he has a particular bone to pick with the Kents.

SARAH CUSHING (Inde Navarrette)

>Kyle and Lana's daughter. A whip-smart, supercool wild child with some demons in her past that almost drove her to suicide. Sarah quickly becomes friends with Jonathan and Jordan Kent despite her father's objections, and develops a strong bond with Jordan which might evolve into something more.

GENERAL SAM LANE (Dylan Walsh)

>Lois' estranged father. A no-nonsense, high-ranking military officer who is determined to keep America and the world safe from all threats – from this world or beyond. Even if it means working with the superpowered alien son-in-law that he disapproves of. Lane is a workaholic who demands nothing but excellence from all those in his life, even at the cost of driving them away.

THE STRANGER / LEX LUTHOR (Wolé Parks)

>A mysterious visitor clad in an armored suit that allows him to mimic Superman's powers, hellbent on proving to the world that it no longer needs the Man of Steel. Behind his mask, he is none other than Lex Luthor from a parallel universe that was destroyed in the Crisis on Infinite Earths, and now seeks to bring Earth-Prime to its knees. As deviously brilliant as any Luthor, and twice as deadly, The Stranger will prove himself to be Superman's greatest challenge yet.

>will they/won’t they
Oh just wait... Lois will feel like Clark sees her as less important than savning the world, in swoops the new Daily planet photographer Jim whateverthefuck, the new upcoming redheaded photographer that, in a midseason finale, is revealed that he is using Lois to get in contact with supes because he has a gay crush on him.. and he is a transkryptonian/muslim

why is lois 50?

To show that Kal ages slower than the rest of the humans

Here I was hoping they would be best friends like in smallville

That's pretty unlikely since they already have two kids. What's actually going to happen is Lois is going to handle the obligatory mission control job since she still has job connections. But will they use earpieces or will every mission include scenes of Lois sitting on her couch giving advice to the air while the boys listen in from the next room?

>Worst Sephiroth
>Second worst Superman
Supergirl already said Lenny and Clark were friends at one point before her show began.

She's 40 and they have two boys in their mid-teens. It would be hard to go much younger without making their backstory insane.

Thius same thread on Zig Forums is flooded with people saying that Hoechlin is brown and demanding for a white guy. Is the entire board retarded?

Yes, everyone knows that.

She was awful on her debut, but on the latest crossover she actually wasn't half bad. my hopes for the show are really low considering it's the CW, but will still give it a fair chance like I did with Black Lightning and Batwoman, the former which I loved a lot.

Jesus fucking Christ. They really couldn't get Jon Cryer?

Making him pull double duty would be too expensive plus he might have other commitments just wait for the special where Clark has to deal with two Lex Luthors and gets Black Lighting to give him the N-word pass.

We've already discussed this without idiots like you acting like it's some outrage that two shows aren't using the same person as their antagonist at the same time.

>Batwoman, the former which I loved a lot
I gotta ask because i haven’t read anything batwoman, does she have any original villains? Because so far it just seems like she takes all batmans villains

He's talking about Black Lightning hence the former, if it was Batwoman it would be the latter

Ah sorry, I am an idiot and english isn’t my main language.

The question still stands though

It's racist! How come no one in Clark's family is black?

:/

They both cuties

The only relevant black guy on the show is the villain

lois looks like a MAN

I can respect Berlanti deciding the solution to being unable to pick a flavor of Supertwink was to have two. Kind of hoping they eventually give Jon powers though.
