I just watched up to the first half of the second episode and had to turn it off. Do I need to be high as shit to "get" this show? The first episode felt like a bunch of philosophical nothingness with a bunch of weird nonsense happening in the background. What is the point of this show?

You don't have to agree with their points (matter of fact shouldn't for some of them), it's more of listening to their beliefs and ideals that affect their views on life and in turn how the world has affected theirs.
The cartoon is supposed to be trippy, but some of it does tie into what they're chit chatting about. You gotta go into this with an open mind or you're gonna just not like it.

It's an LA "comedian's" podcast with Penn Ward's brain farts as visuals. If you aren't a fan of the podcast you're not going to like it. Think Joe Rogan but less MMA and more duuuuuuude like we're all oooooone maaaaaaaaaaaan. Like our energy is all combined in a nexus of shared emotional sentience and and and like uh togetherness.

It's essentially a cartoon with most of the dialogue being podcasts Duncan had. The dialogue and cartoon do tie in somewhat, but you could also just listen to the podcast. Suffice to say, you have to go into with an open mind. Personally it gets better in the later episodes.

I watched the first two episodes. From Zig Forums's reaction it sounded like the visuals to be 100% divorced from the dialogue, but from what I've seen so far there is a genuine attempt to tie the two together.

I was expecting some straight up gibberish, but this seemed pretty straightforward.
