Dudes usually freak out more when the female characters don't act how they want. It wasn't cheating, but I remember Superman fans shitting up the WW threads back then when DC was in the process of breaking that shit up. They called her a whore and bitch.
There's less women than men in the world so it's just normal than women have on average more sexual partners.
It's almost as if .....
WHOA
Maybe.....
WOMEN AND MEN ARE DIFFERENT
Aren't there more women than men in most Western nations? There's slightly more men globally, but that's entirely due to Asia. There's more women than men in the US, but about a third of men 25 and up have had no sexual partners and 1/8th of women IIRC. Women don't generally have more sexual partners as much as men tend to either get an overlap of multiple women or no women at all.
No, the number are always that there's slightly more male births than females. The numbers get weirder with old people because women tend to live longer, so if you count old women yes, you get more women than men.

I don't know about the numbers of men and women, but I'm pretty sure men have on average more sexual partners than women.
Yes, and? Problem? Did you believe in equality or something?
>I don't know about the numbers of men and women, but I'm pretty sure men have on average more sexual partners than women.
That is mathematically impossible unless you include gay relationships.
>There's less women than men in the world
Other way around. There are more male births than female, but female babies tend to survive to adulthood more often than male, so when comparing the population of women to men, there are more women.
user, don't try to rationalise their sexism, just ignore them. Let them be toxic, you'll spare yourself a lot of frustration
Not if you consider the number of men who remain virgins until late in life.
The more numerous they are, the lower the average would be. Women probably lie in those surveys (and men probably exagerate their numbers, just like every dude has a huge dick in self-reported surveys).
Men self-insert themselves into the male character so it’s okay because it means you’re fucking hot women. If in this scenario it’s a female character who’s cheating it’s a betrayal to be taken personally. A lot of nerds are spergs who lack self-awareness and just throw a fit because of their mental immaturity and inability to handle complicated morals in relationships that is meant to be about mutual respect and trust, as they subconsciously only care about feeding their Id.
It's also funny when you notice that female-oriented/written books tend to have multiple romance interests. Turns out women like to imagine hot guys fawning over them as much as men like imagining women throwing themselves at them.
Off the top of my head Ollie and Tony Stark got shit on for being unfaithful. Dick gets away with it because Starfire was okay with it.
Why did Miller make it a central plot point that Gordon cheated on his wife? He didn’t even make it a bad marriage just that he started going after her hard in year one
Because it shows that even Gordon is only human, and far from perfect, as he fell into a form of moral corruption. He might have not given into being bought by the mob but he fell into neglecting his marriage and having affair with Essen. It makes Gordon a multidimensional character instead of a cartoonishly straight goodie goodie guy in a city that’s absurdly full of corruption.
Starfire is a sick fuck that gets off on making her friends fall in love with Dick and then cucking them. Barbra is just a cuckqueen
All things considered, I imagine Starfire would be down for Babs banging Dick.
Did you actually read Year One? Jim cheating was him falling from grace. The pressure was getting to him and he made a bad decision. We don’t know what happened when Jim came clean to his wife, but the idea was that it was wrong.
She would totally support their relationship.
This. Year One was essentially Jim Gordon’s odyssey. It was about a man of strong moral fiber being challenged in every facet of his integrity.
Do you remember that scene when Dick slept with Barbra and then invited her to his and Starfire's wedding and she was completely pissed of asking if that was just some pity sex for the crippled girl?
That's what Starfire gets off on
>female babies tend to survive to adulthood more often than male
Damn, it feels good to be a child soldier.

This sounds weird, but part of the reason I won’t accept Creed as Rocky canon is because it makes Apollo a cheater. A major aspect of his character in 2 was that despite his bluster and ego, he was a devoted family man that treated his wife and kids like royalty. For being such a fierce opponent and, for a while, Rocky’s arch-enemy, he was a good guy that was just very stubborn and loud. Him having a side bitch takes away that important aspect of him.
>strong moral fiber
You mean a man obsessed with justice and sacrificing everything for it? He is a Batman mirror in Year one.
>obsessed with justice
>Not Strong Moral Fiber
Do Degenerates really?
>You mean a man obsessed with justice and sacrificing everything for it?
...Yes? He felt he had a moral obligation to resist the corruption and fight against it. I don’t get your point.
He sacrifices his duties as a father/husband for Justice. That's an obsession, a lack of moral, not righteousness.
I thought everyone here would say that the cheating man is shit too, because that's how I feel, but most of them seem to just say
>Men and women different
So maybe you're right OP. But I really do hate cheaters, man or woman.
To me Starfire is more into threesomes. The only reason why she doesn't do it is because Dick is pretty boring. He likes good old fashioned sex with one other person.
