Not exactly what you're looking for but East of West, a really good series, has a future tech Confederacy warring and allying with a handful of other American nations. It's led by a great character.
Im looking for a civil war story where both sides have a point.
>East of West
Looks interesting, ill check it out
One Piece Kinda did that
>Zig Forums bait thread
Kill yourself
>Im looking for a civil war story where both sides have a point.
That's not kosher.
>kosher
What is that?
You better be fucking joking
I just used that image because its the first thing when you look up "civil war" Everything you said was correct. I just want a good civil war story where both sides have a point
It's a little disturbing seeing how common the confederate flag is waved around in the southern states. They were terrorists who lost the war over a hundred years ago.
>Everything you said was correct.
Cringe.
The highest ranking jewish person in the war was a confederate and Ulysses S. Grant exiled Jews from a town, something he had to apologize for and kiss the ring by filling his cabinet with jews when he became president. I don’t see how the confederacy is such a problem for the group that determines what is kosher.
Both sides did not have a point. This is like asking for a WW2 movie where both sides have a point. All you're doing is dragging your racist hate here so you can change Zig Forums's sensibilities into putting jews in camps and burning them in ovens
fuck off Zig Forums
Way to break US law you fucking cunt.
>I don’t see how the confederacy is such a problem for the group that determines what is kosher.
They change allegiances like funny little hats.
The fact that statists like you make statements like that is exactly why that flag must never completely disappear.
Nice bait.
Not quite about the civil war but there is Haunted Tank, the ghost of a Civil War Calvary soldier who helps tanks in modern battles.
There was a pretty good mini from the 00s that made parallels of the civil war with the Iraq war of the time.

>That image
Heh
Today it seems, the mods are based.
>C-Confederate Flags S-S-Scare me!
>Literally a flag
What a pussy
>I don't want to address his point so I'll put words in his mouth
user is right, it's even more bizarre seeing the flag of a loser traitor faction get waved in a northern state that fought them. Are Americans even aware of their own history?
>Are Americans even aware of their own history?
>MUH AMERICANS
Of course.
I've seen this over the years with no context. This makes my day.
Well it is the country we're discussing.
You ever heard the story of Anne Frank?
>Being intentionally dense.
Yes. Thus why they wave it you dumb spamming cunt
Guys please, i didnt want this. Mods delete this thread
The flag has no significance in the modern era anymore, guy, the only reason why people bring it up is by dumbass rednecks and the jokes pertaining to the Confederates stupidity. The fact that the user is scared by a flag that is arguably more of a meme than it is something to be scared of makes him a pussy.
the reason they wave the confederate flag is BECAUSE they don't know their own history and have been lied to enough that they actually believe the war wasnt about slavery
>The flag has no significance in the modern era anymore
wrong, it represents right-wing ethnonationalism
>BECAUSE they don't know their own history and have been lied to enough that they actually believe the war wasnt about slavery
>Actually believes the war was about """"slavery"""
Why did the north want to get rid of slavery, again?
>Foreigner talking about American history
Didn't Michigan's government just get closed down because of gun-wielding types who like waving Confederate flags? Maybe you're just in denial.
>it represents right-wing ethnonationalism
Based.
Do not reply to the spamming fuck or fucks
No one else has mentioned it. I ASSUME you and everyone else around here are aware of this content, but Marvel had a civil war event and there's also the Captain America Civil War film. I mean, that seems pretty obvious of a thing to mention. Maybe TOO obvious to mention but I thought I'd mention there are both comic books and a comic book movie where arguably, both sides do have a point.
I WAS TALKING ABOUT STORIES SUCH AS THE BEGINING OF KORRA SEASON 2 AND ALABASTA ARC, NOT FUCKING THIS
Use a different picture then, newfig.
>a Civil War Calvary soldier
Not just any cavalryman, that's Jeb Stuart. Probably the best cavalry commander in US history, even if he was a traitor.
Also kek @ that page
>foreigners talking about american history
im an american. you on the other hand...
>Why did the north want to get rid of slavery, again?
they didn't, initially. but every single confederate state seceded because they were convinced it would happen. lincoln only made the war about ending slavery to keep the circling euro vultures off his back.
see, this is why nobody respects you. you shriek and squeal like piggies about the confederate flag, and then when people point out it represents an evil slavocracy you reply 'yeah?'
Its one spamming cunt user.
Im sorry he is shitting up the thread.
Report him and keep trying
>im an american.
Doubt.
>lincoln only made the war about ending slavery to keep the circling euro vultures off his back.
>End slavery for the Euros
>When multiple Euros wanted to support the Confederacy
Changing the goal to "ending slavery" was a power play, about changing the narrative, and appealing to populism.
>Right-Wing ethnonationalism
Ah, yes. Cite the 0.03% of the population that actually upholds that belief. Try again
>Gun-wielding
There's your answer. Maybe you're just retarded
>Everyone in this thread is one person.
>Doubt
wow, a confederate apologist who is wrong, and stupid?? this is a new development, to be sure
>Changing the goal to "ending slavery" was a power play, about changing the narrative, and appealing to populism.
correct, it also, incidentally, does not change the fact that the southern states seceded to defend the institution of slavery.
He is a dumbshit.
The protests were to make them open up.
>lol I post le Confederate flag
>I sure hope nobody starts discussing le slavery and le states rights XD
Can't fool me jogger
why would i have to try again when i was right the first time?
>wow, a confederate apologist who is wrong, and stupid?? this is a new development, to be sure
>DUR HURR UR STUPID
>does not change the fact that the southern states seceded to defend the institution of slavery.
It does not change the fact that this is an intentionally misleading description.
Why did the north want to end slavery?
Because they really cared about the niggas down south?
Why did the south want to keep it?
Because they're evil mean bullies?
Not to mention, the various other massive divides between the north and south. "Slavery" has the wrong connotation, "factionalism" is the far more meaningful description.
there are only two posters on Zig Forums. Me, and Not Me.
Not Me is my enemy, and i will kill him
Dont reply to him user. He has no desire to discuss things.
>B-but I-I was right! Wikipedia told me so!
Pathetic. Produce statistics and credible data to prove you're right instead of saying a term and declare your right. Try again
>DUR HURR UR STUPID
yes, you are stupid, as your statements have demonstrated.
>It does not change the fact that this is an intentionally misleading description.
Yes, you are attempting to do this, but it has not succeeded because the points you are attempting to raise are utterly irrelevant. The point of contention is that the war was fought over the right of the southern states to maintain slavery, NOT about the north's reasons for opposing slavery. You are attempting (and failing) to mislead by ignoring the role of the southern states in enshrining slavery into their very constitutions at the point of secession. Discussion over, you've lost.
credible data, AKA opening your eyes. i get it, too hard for you
