Still say that Force Awakens was better than any of the prequels. The rest of the ST was underwhelming tho
I do hope the actress' career isn't ruined by these films, like with what happened to some of the prequel actors-- she's hot. I wouldn't mind seeing her in more films.
>oh boy, a forth deathstar movie
She's a bimbo who can't act.
Yet the dialogue isn't painful to listen to, and there is some character chemistry and heart. PT is soulless
>chemistry and heart. PT is soulless
Prequels are the definition of shitty movies that have soul.
Are you unironically saying the corporate cash-ins have more soul?
Every time I take any risks, I wake up in some other universe where things are different. Back in my old universe, Rey is widely disliked and her movies all sucked.
I always hated her hairstyle, the pulled back triple ponytail bun thing she has going on is ugly.
It grew on me over time, but they had to bring it back for RoS for her brief Carrie scene. I thought her TLJ look is her best. Both hair and costume.
That's why the toys are rotting on the shelf...
She killed the Star Wars toyline
>Yet the dialogue isn't painful to listen to, and there is some character chemistry and heart. PT is soulless
PT did have far better designs than ST, but no amount of neat designs and imagery can change the fact that Lucas's scripts are terrible. He should've gotten someone to polish the scripts or just get some help. Ironically, he did get a co writer for Episode 2, yet the dialogue was still shitty.
>Lucas's scripts are terrible.
And the sequels...?
Prequels have no character chemistry. You're never emotionally invested in the characters, except for Obi Wan and Qui Gon ( mostly because of Ewan and Neeson's performances than the actual dialogue )
>Prequels have no character chemistry
>You're never emotionally invested in the characters
Just like the sequels.
>"*sigh*....somehow, Palpatine has returned"
Whoa....Bravo Abrams!!!
TFA did have a witty and mostly tight script for the most part, thanks to Disney actually getting Lawrence Kasdan back, which Lucas should've tried instead of doing it all by himself.
Rey and Poe didn't even talk to eachother until the end of The Last Jedi
It wasn’t better than RotS.
When i say chemistry, i'm mostly refering to Rey and Finn or Rey and Han.
Sith is not a good film. Get over your edgelord phase already. It's just Attack of the Clones 1.5, only with even more green screen, lightsaber fights, dull talking, a lame villain with Grievious and an admittedly pretty good last 10 minutes that trick you into thinking the whole film was good. RotS's ending is manipulative.
This one scene in TFA has better chemistry, cinematography and humor than the entire PT imo. Compare this shit to the underwater scene in Phantom Menace, in which there's no humor and Obi Wan and Qui Gon look bored out of their asses, so the audience isn't invested in the situation as a result.
Sorry, forgot the link. youtube.com
Still better than A New Hope 2.0
> Force Awakens was better than any of the prequels
Imagine unironically believing that a soulless rehash that does nothing interesting beyond poorly adapting some EU material is actually good lmao.
The prequels are absolute kino of the highest order.
Opening scene from RotS is better
YA know what, I don't mind that one bit. Ian McDiarmid was the best and one good thing about the movie, even it was just a shallow attempt at nostalgia. There was no way the movie was going to be good so I'll take what I got.
Also the wicket cameo.
Isn't she already a coke addict? Her post-Star Wars career is probably going to be some unholy combination of what happened to Mark Hamill and what happened to Carrie Fisher. Five years from now she'll be overweight, bloated, and fried out of her mind, appearing on late night shows to slur out lines about how she's "hanging in there these days."
Are there any castles in Europe that big?
