Not started making the film 9 years ago and filled it with pop culture references from that time in an era of short lived and then forgotten memes and personalities.

Kept Velma pure and white for firsts.

Made it a self contained simple story about solving a town mystery. Not have had 9 fucking writers. Kept the original voice actors. No dated pop culture references

2 - cut out at least two of the four plots. There's too much going on at once and none if it feels important
3 - go all in on the old-school animation references and sfx or don't use them at all. The random use is jarring

Market it as a Hanna-Barbera movie rather than a Scooby Doo movie, or just only stick with making a new Scooby Doo plot.
