Meatloaf is as good or bad as you want it to be, it all depends on what you put into it. If you make dry as meatloaf that you gotta slather with ketchup, then yeah, meatloaf fuckin sucks. But if you make it right, meatloaf is a delicious, juicy dinner. Think of a meatball in the shape of a big loaf.

The only cartoon that did a good picture day episode was Recess, "One Stayed Clean". There's actual stakes to it since Gus Griswold, this little cowardly army brat who's been shuffled around from school to school, never had a chance to get his picture taken, and his friends work to protect him from getting dirty before they get their picture taken at the end of the day.

It's marginally less work to make a meatloaf.

Meatloaf is slightly easier to cook since once you make it you just throw it in the oven. Meatballs you have to watch more closely and rotate them, etc. Same reason casseroles are so popular, they make it easy to go do something else while it cooks.

mince beef shouldnt be mixed with filling, shaped into a loaf and baked, part of what makes meatballs great is the shape they have allows for more crust surface and th center reaches higher temperatures, plus you are suppossed to have them with some sauce that compliments the flavor.
If you have the ingridientss for meatballs you should make meatballs, the only reason meatloaf exists is because its easy and convinient to make, a mother can easily prepare it with little time and getting ony one bowl and one oven tray dirty, a school can make 20 of them in 2 hours
