Can anyone explain to me the inconsistency of his character?For 2 seasons of AF he seemed to have the mental fortitude and age of a 25 years old but after the highbreed invasion he went full retarded and full of himself leaving Kevin and Gwen to nearly die while he plays sumo slammers sure he had badass moments here and there but it's overshadowed the tone of the show took a nosedive for some reason and they brought back characters like max and simian

When Alien Force started, he was retired for years, thought Grandpa Max was dead, and had to stop an alien invasion with minimum help. After that, he beat Vilgax, who was the biggest threat he's ever faced.
Ben was acting full of himself because by all rights he proved to himself and the universe that he could back it up.

MoA's real series finale was Ben's dad blowing up Vilgax at a gas station. CN made then turn it to a What If episode because they didn't want a definitive conclusion to their new favorite cash cow.

Keep saying it, you are allowed to dislike and ignore the rest of the series if that makes you happy, doesnt make them less canon.

Sounds more like the real ending than the movie was, where Ben just chucks Vilgax to space like a joke and nothing actually feels concluded. The comic narration was added in to make it a What If like Gwen 10 solely because CN did not want an actual ending to the series.

Retarded as hell also the episode is way topped by the Ben vs negative 10 twoparter meanwhile secret of the omnitrix had vilgax chasing Ben through space while the universe is at stake it's a satisfying conclusion and a cannon one too you can't dismissed it because "me not like it!"

And after the movie, Vilgax logically gets so pissed off that he attacks Ben in his own home. He doesn't even care about the Omnitrix at this point, as he just wants Ben DEAD!
