What's the deal with millennials being pathological liars and having no clue about old cartoon and yet they pretend being "revolutionary" with their "diversity" bullshit?

People like to parrot bullshit because it sounds good to them, this isn't a generational thing but a human thing. "Napoleon was short" is something that instantly comes to mind.

It's not like the producers had a choice. They were told by higher-ups, "We want this demographic go get it". There's an entire episode of The Toys that Made Us talking about She-Ra and He-Man and how when making She-Ra, they had to be careful not to make her too big because they didn't want her to seem more powerful than He-Man.

Also, that isn't what toxic masculinity is. Pic related is. But it's lost so much of its meaning at this point people just think, "If a guy does someone a woman doesn't like" it's toxic masculinity.

Urban legends like Napoleon being short is different than obvious cringe lies from pathological liars like the "Black Panther was the first superhero movie with black protagonist!".

>It's not like the producers had a choice.
It's not like the producers were forced to make that shows

What's the deal with millennials being pathological liars and having no clue about new cartoon and yet they pretend being "revolutionary" with their "anti-SJW" bullshit?

If they wanted to keep their fucking jobs, they did. Do you think a producer is as powerful as a CEO or something?

>Producer
>Not powerful
Are you retarded?

Let's cut the middleman out here
What's the deal with people pathologically lying in the internet age where any lie can quickly be disproved? I've seen people spout pure and utter bullshit on here that can be disproved with a 5 second google search but they still fucking do. Blows my fucking mind, literally today somebody was claiming that a channel that was producing "the most new cartoons of its era" when it only ever made 3 total over 6 years in the 90s. Like why even try to lie about shit like this?

Holy shit, you really think a producer is as powerful as a CEO, don't you? If there was ever any more proof that Zig Forums knows shit about how the industry works, this is it.

A producer who works for a studio is attached to projects or given goals by higher ups on what target audience they want to get. If someone works for Mattel and says, "We want a new toy line for boys", the producer has to put into motion a team who is perfect for the job. The producer is NOT the one who makes the, "We want a new toy line for boys" decision in the first place.

But you probably think producers fund shit out of pocket and get paid billions because by the sound of it, you're retarded.

It was actually Meteor Man, right?

Most people are too lazy to check for sources and if you lie long enough, people have no choice but to believe you. Simple as.

Original She-Ra must be revived by someone else who's not a dyke?

who cares?

It's more like some of the fans think that OG She-Ra is too sexist, racist, and homophobic.

It would be nicer if the media acknowledges the diversity of OG SheRa. That could've helped boost up nu-Ra saying that they're continuing the legacy of its diversity.

>OG She-Ra is too sexist
he-man always plays second fiddle to she-ra whenever he appears in the show, so yes?

>In 2007, Scheimer publicly declared her homosexuality. In an interview with Terrance Griep, Scheimer explained that she felt comfortable as a lesbian working for Filmation: "I was a strong female voice myself, and—guess what?—I happened to be gay. Does that make any difference about anything? I'll tell you one thing, it didn't matter, because Filmation was one of the gayest places in town."

Every generation has had something to rally behind.

They don’t like to face the sad truth that everything has been done before generations ago and they are in an era where all you can do is imitate and hope your imitation is better than the others competing against it.

>But it's lost so much of its meaning at this point people just think, "If a guy does someone a woman doesn't like" it's toxic masculinity.
That's basically what it is now.

REMINDER: Being made to sell toys does not mean the show is automatically bad

>women are toxic
water is wet

Indeed.

>almost canned for not being a toy commercial enough
strong argument

Man fuck this. I would have bought a $20 K-mart version of this.
Executives are idiots.

True... But it does mean that it's more likely the show will have even weirder producer demands that could hurt the quality...

This literally says that the show was going to be dropped because the original source of funding didn't think it could sell toys though, and the later producer didn't care that it wouldn't.

Literally who cares. These are not creator-driven cartoons. They are toy commercials. Everybody could have been replaced and not much about the series would change.

Hey we got some motherfucking dyke liker's remorse out here!

>These are not creator-driven cartoons. They are toy commercials.
Why not both?

>Says the faggot who never watched the third season of GI Joe

Creator-driven cartoons are a thing from the past. They've been corporative-friendly for more than a decade. Only the veterans from the 90s renaissance seem to remain some of their creative freedom and even they have to compromise (see the Hotel Transilvania fiasco or allegedelly Samurai Jack S5 being cut into less episodes)
