What is that book even supposed to be about? Telling you how to feel bad because white guys wrote famous works? I'm not even a bookfag but I can name Sylvia Plath and Mary Shelly off the top of my head as two female writers. And in college I had to read works from African and Japanese writers but those don't fall into western canon, which if you look at historical context it's obvious why it's primarily composed of white men.
