I've seen the argument that Zig Forums technicality is meant to house discussion of eastern media/animation in general, but the userbase and moderation are often completely hellbent on only allowing Japanese creations. So gook stuff resides in Zig Forums that is when a retarded mod doesn't delete a donghua thread out of the blue

Pretty decent for a chinese cartoon, Season 1 that is, I don’t think Season 2 measured up to it, it feels very bland, the drama didn’t hit as hard nor the comedy, it had to make up on the action, but if I wanted really good action then would’ve watched something else. Season 3 better not be a bigger step down.

the sub is better, the show is great, very cleverly written, and sweet. Better than anything that's come out over here by miles. I tried watching my dub with my mom and it was jarring how much they swore compared to the sub, which was idiotic, because it completely misses the tone of the show and artificially stamps a different rating on it to make it appeal to netflix's needlessly edgy audience, and makes it so I can't show my mom a cool cartoon, because she's a blind boomer and can't read subs fast enough.
