Twelve Forever

Is it worth getting into?

It's only 13 episodes, so sure.

It's a pretty fun show. Neat contrast between boring/bleak colors of earth and whacky neon pastels of Endless. Give it five episodes to decide if you like it. They're only 11mins each.

It's 25 episodes user.

Only worth it for her

it's not like there's going to be a season 2.

No, it's awful

Why? Elaborate? Some people says it's good.

annoying protagonist, slow direction, bad lessons, boring secondary characters.

Okay. Understandable view of the show.

No shame in not liking the show user. Plenty of shows out there for you to check out.

There is a good chance it'll just end with this one season but what is there is a compelling character study of the main character, engaging character dynamics, and a message you don't see often in kid shows. The adventures in the magical realm, Endless, is more of a way to facilitate these ideas than just being a means of itself really.

Is it me or is there something off with Ester and Todd?

I disagree. I would probably not like the series if it stay closer to the pilot.

I think it's kind of slow until they get to the Guy Pleasant episode and then it soars in quality

I think the shift started happening in episode two, when we first get our first real inklings of Reggie's anxiety of growing up, but yeah, that is the episode when the series generally focuses on the inner turmoil on the characters.

Not enough. Absolutely NOBODY is allowe dto like this cancer show.

Why? I like it very much.

I SAID YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO LIKE SOMETHING I HATE, YOU FUCKING SJWFLIX SIMP

Well, I respect your opinion user.

OH REALLY????

I'll respect yours as well. Not even the Buttwitch gives me any interest in the show, may just not be my thing.

To be honest, it's a bit shallow to like a show solely for its sex appeal. Butt Witch is cool, but she can't carry the show.

...is she like the female red guy?

Yes, that's weirdly accurate.

Red Guy is more comedic slapstick in nature though.

Yeah, but both are nebulous forces of evil that hate children, though perhaps Butt Witch could be more complex than initially believed.

She's definitely more complex, we just have yet to see that side of her.

You're sure of that?

I mean, there's obviously more to her story. And a flashback episode would be dope.

I would say yes because I really liked to see where they were going character wise towards the end of the "first season" with the main cast. But it being in Netflix limbo really puts a damper on it seeing how we don't know if it will keep going or not.

What do you think she is really? I think she was a former toy that became corrupted.

Hard to say really. My gut feeling is that she's more primordial to Endless island. That it really was "hers" back in the day. But we also really haven't seen any evidence to show that certain characters definitively always existed in the realm and weren't just the creations of others.

My personal idea is that there is nothing truly original to Endless except its magical properties. I believed that it was once a lifeless pile of sand and only through several cycles of host kids did it become living. It would explain how haphazard and random it looks too, since each child would surely bring something new to the table. Perhaps Butt Witch really did lay domain over the island at one time where there wasn't a host kid around.
