Yesterday I started marathonning Venture Bros but only had time to cram four episodes. I hope to finish this by Sunday, which means cramming an entire season plus a special every day.
These threads document the evil shit Rusty does. Unrelated, but so far Brock has murdered a lot of people for petty reasons. The Guild and OSI are introduced in episode 3, and we see Brock's license to kill, so the lore is starting to make sense.
So far, Rusty skinned a dog alive for an experiment, sold a death-ray to the army, bribed a doctor for a prescription, stole a kidney from one of his sons, and made a security robot that didn't have a "friendly file" programmed yet so it tried to kill his son.
Continuing with episode 4, which introduces the fact that cloning is illegal, and Rusty is being shady as hell about it.
EPISODE 4 According to Brisby's researchers, "Doctor" Venture is not a real doctor, he never finished school. He goes around presenting himself as a doctor, tho.
Gives a desperate girl the slip when she really needs his help.
I should note that Venture is surrounded by people who are far worse than him, from Brisby who wants world domination to Professor Impossible who tries to murder Venture.
EPISODE 9 More lore about the Guild. We find out that the "bad guys" and the "good guys" are just LARPing and the government allows them to kill each other, but there are rules.
Rusty peeks on his son's medical exam despite promising him that he wouldn't look.
>More lore about the Guild. We find out that the "bad guys" and the "good guys" are just LARPing and the government allows them to kill each other, but there are rules. I still really wish this was a real thing. Hell, if it was only in designated areas out of concern for collateral damage.
