>new animated Star Trek series announced
>it's more calarts
Star Trek: Lower Decks
There's gonna be plenty of reasons to hate this show on its own merits. You don't need to bring bullshit buzzwords in it as well.
It looks more like it'll just be boring.
Less like Calarts and more like Rick and Morty's style.
Seethe more faggot
>new trek movies were shit
>new trek series was shit
>next new trek series was shit
>new trek animated series will be shit too
It's a sign we've gone wrong as a civilization.
Or maybe the one person who's been involved in every one of those projects and gains more creative control and power as the franchise goes on it the (main) source of the problem.
Wow, you really stuck it to me there, champ.
I wish Mr. Plinkett reviewed animation. This is going to make the live action stuff look good.
>it's the future but everyone has those asymmetrical modern haircuts
>dude if it's the future why did 80s Star Trek give everyone haircuts from the 80s
>cute green sidecut girl
i
ahhh
i
I
I'M
GONNA
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
I'd Anne her Boonchuy
Discovery could have been set 20 years after Voyager it would have still been bad but it wouldn't be as fucking stupid
>Star Trek ended after Deep Space Nine
>"coomer" spam slave admitting to be a discord simp lusting for fat dyke haircut clowns all day
You don't make that shit up.
So will SFDEBRis review this?
>not fat
>not a dyke
>clearly an alien from the medical ward, not a comedic employee at a circus
>trying to stop a nice honest coom
>people still wearing shitty side buzzes in 2400
Discovery and Picard still would have been bad if their protagonists were white, blonde, uber men that dabbed on the SJWs. New Star Trek issue is being action schlock with bad writing. The political element is frankly irrelevant. It really doesn't come into play with the seasons underlying quality, and is either celebrating shit they are already late to the party on, or Patrick Stewart rambling about some nonsence, while he misunderstands the character. It's literally the same type of safe corporate progressiveness, in which the cast is diverse, as focus tested. But not ground breaking, like older Star Trek tried to be. Orville is more like old Star Trek in that regard, with the whole baby gender stuff.
This cartoon however could maybe work, if the writers are seperated enough for Kurtzman and co, and focuses on the below decks day to day, but comedic. Not sure. But I wouldn't trust them with Pike.
when does it come out?
Nothing could be dumber than Picard was and maybe with the writers not trying to be so "epic" we can have something decent
And thanks to that guy's ability to suck dick and lick beans he's probably not going to be held accountable and be removed.
Of course these are Hollywood execs. They have no real sense as to whether they are failing or not.
In lore reason is likely that since they are ensigns they still have the regulation issue haircut or haircuts that fit regulation. Black girl obviously defies this since she is the captain's daughter.
In reality they thought it was hip and they forgot how many characters have that haircut.
This is my hope as well. That if they punt this one in they might actually succeeding at making a decent show without injecting the stupid agendas or talking points they used to run everything else in the ground.
Dumbass
Has to be better than fucking Discovery
Post porn of the green dyke
60's Star Trek was written by the cream of the crop of Golden Age science fiction magazines.
You don't have that talent out there anymore. They just write books these days.
>stock poses to show they have no realistic personalities or depth
>ugly calarts style that you can't take seriously
Hard pass, it's another show that has no substance and just relies on cringy "jokes" and bad situational humor
Yes, in the future everyone should logically be wearing this outfit.
that's not the reason, they just aren't hiring good writers, like they are butchering Star Trek, but the main issue isn't that they want Star Trek to be Battlestar Galactica, this is an issue but not the main one, the main issue that they are fucking shit writers, can't write a single thing that doesn't come off as B-tier Michael Bay movie
>Calarts
you aren't even using your shitty boogeymen right.
