I think I threw out the idea once before that she should have been the MC who joins the company as an idealist that has slowly been drowning in the quagmire of greed and contempt since Bigweld vanished
Then Rodney comes in as a fresh bright eyed sap (in her eyes) that restores her belief and original vision
Shit, if something like happened she could have climbed to her position of seeming influence out of an intense fear of being deemed expendable by society and tries to isolate herself in high corporate culture and ignore the bottom rung poor robots she was once part of until she's inspired to try to help the downtrodden
I'm still struck that Ewan McGregor is Rodney and I never noticed until recenty
