This show was pretty inconsistent with character heights

90s animation has some wonky size-squishy stuff, but it is a godsend when you recall how many blatant animation errors there was in 80s and 70s animation.
"You're a BIG BUTTLER"
All those studios will do that.
I remember rewatching this a year ago and being surprised that there were toon charcters the size of adult humans. And apparent Babs is at least big enough that tv executives would let her play a teen girl on tv, a be it a short one.

character height can be manipulated for perspective jokes and mood stuff. if you want someone to get sexy instantly you can give them legs and a couple of inches out of nowhere and then have everything go back to normal the next scene. you scrutinize too much
aren't they canonically teenagers? why are they short compared to the adult toons?
because it's TINY TOONS; they have to be tiny. "Slightly Shorter Than the Adults But Pretty Close to Being Full-Grown Toons" doesn't sound as good.
maybe in the Tiny Toons/Looney Tunes universe you just instantly evolve into a grown adult the second you turn 18 or 21 or something, who knows
>ywn pat Babs' head
>gag cartoons
>consistency
>babs has like a thousand siblings in one episode
>suddenly an only child in another
w-what happened to them?
she didn't want to raise an entire army of funny rabbits...
Well their the kid forms of Bugs and company of whom most are already shorter than adult humans.
Still there are toons the size of grown humans and barely teen humans the size of Buster and his gang so it would depend of genes I guess.
I'm starting to understand this problem firsthand. I mean, I understand a fair amount of squash and stretch for cartoon action, but as I'm animating, I'm having to go back to the roughs and adjust for a semi-consistent height. It really fluctuates between closeups and wide-angle shots.
Cute couple

Consistent proportions is probably the hardest thing in animation desu.

Full Project still in production. Here's a test render from a few weeks ago.
woah, that's cool. I thought it would be an animatic test instead of full animation.
I can't even imagine how tough it is for action shows.
Just wish I could post it with the audio. But I guess Zig Forums doesn't allow audio webms on Zig Forums?
Looney Tunes basically is action. Subtle and small motions are probably even harder to do as well.
It doesn't allow audio webms anywhere.
it does on /gif/ and /wsg/

Strange choice of music, but I hope it goes well.
There's a tendency in media to portray teens as short, even though most teenagers reach their full height during those years. Animated shows also portray 10-year-old kids as barely waist-high, or even shorter.
Only because it was original cast's VA. and unused audio for an unproduced short from the show. So I figured, why not? Just for fun.
I thought they were around 9 to 12 years old MAX because of their height lol
Their age range seem to change with episodes/gags. Sometimes it seems like they are in high school or college and other times the show treats them like they're in grade school.
