>Zoomers are feeling nostalgic for Drawn Together, blissfully unaware that it's nothing but shock humor, offensive humor and the characters are extremely unlikable
What went wrong? Why do Zoomers have such shit taste?

your copypasta doesn't make any fucking sense here because those "zoomers" you are talking about were in diapers when Drawn Togheter was on air

it is really cool concept
shame most of "humor" was about how they shit in pizza or something like that

People who watched something when they were younger always feel nostalgic for that thing when they get older. It’s not difficult to understand.

>zoomers
What the fucking are you talking about OP holy shit have you lost it? You've gone senile OP.
This show came out in 04, most zoomers would still be in kindergarten or elementary school at this point.
I remember this Drawn together from my teen years when I was in high school but I'd hardly say I'm nostalgic for it. Had some funny jokes here and there.

Why was captain hero so based?

>You are great embarrassment to family name! I am ashamed to call you Ling-Ling Hitler Bin Laden Seacrest!
It was pretty funny most of the time.

Literally one episode of 40 revolved around that.

That's not funny at all

Kill yourself

Tons of kids watched stuff they weren't allowed to as a kid, South Park had a kid fanbase despite being an adult show.

The show was funny, the movie was shit.

What the fuck are you on about? No one talks about Drawn Together anymore.

This.

I think more kids watched South Park than adults.

This. I remember watching secretly Drawn Together when i was younger, and my parents walked in on the scene with squirrel balls. I got in so much shit for that.

That’s one out of four tens.
And that’s terrible.

I mean, i remember seeing one scene from the slumber party episode (the scene where butters fakes his death) when i was searching for Pet Semetary. I think I was 8 or 9 at the time.

Because it was unapologetic in it's disgusting & cruel shock humor without trying to be preachy. Everyone in the cast were assholes and got their comeuppance in the end. No one was a special snowflake/writers pet, no one was YAAAS QUEEN Bait for being LGBTQ+, and no one was above one another at the end of the episodes.

Nowadays shock humor shows like Big Mouth, Tuca & Bertie, Rick & Morty, etc hides behind identity politics. They're all the same compared to Drawn Together in shock value but claim that having a mostly female and/or LGBTQ+ writing cast makes them irreproachable. This also transfers over to the show as characters become spoiled brats with plot armor a la Rick Sanchez because of the same arrogance the writers have.

Look at Always Sunny & Old South Park. They're overall the same premise as Drawn Together but they show that everyone is an asshole not above getting kicked in the nuts. LGBTQ+, Straights, Blacks, Whites, Muslims, Jews, Christians, and everyone else is treated with the same shit stained comb.
>TL;DR
No one likes to be preached at by sanctimonious frauds and hypocrites. They want to laugh at some black comedy without wokescolds or identity politic shilling.

Who is the Pig supposed to parody?

It's more an homage to the ashes of Adam Corollla's cultural relevance.

Internet cartoons in the early/mid 2000s. He's Newgrounds in all but name

>"I'm going to commercial break you in 3... 2.... 1..."
>Cuts to commercial
It had its moments. All of the edgy jokes were harmless at worst.

The humor was always better when it was less edgy shit and more surreal slapstick like gif related.

shut up luthor

Agreed, the writing that wasn't toilet, gross out, or sex humor was on point. I wish they had done more of it.

Started watching this recently. I think my favorite episode is the Phat Allen one because of how vicious they got with the parody.

My favourite episodes were when the crew role played as Xandir family, Xandir and Tim and captain girl.
The gay episodes in general were the most funny.

1st and second season were great
in the third the well was starting to dry and the movie was awful

I didn't watch Drawn Together when it first came out (I was like 18 and thought the whole Reality TV fad was stupid), I watched it for the first time about three years ago.

It's actually pretty good. Like when it does offensive humor it isn't that you're supposed to find it funny simply because it's offensive, it's humor which uses accurate racial stereotypes and porn fetishes as its medium. Most of it's just goofy humor, though.

Movie's god-awful, though and parts of S3 were showing some rough edges.

It's actually funny and the characters are meant to be assholes, get better taste.

I wasn't a big fan of this even as a kid but i'm half tempted to watch it out of pure curiosity, I watched all of the nutshack after all. This can't be that bad

I remember hearing that the 1 1/2 long movie had half the budget of a regular Drawn Together episode. That's why they were forced to switch to Flash. It got so bad that they almost had to replace most of the voice actors, but they managed to get them all on board, as a reduced pay.

Any Captain Hero episode was god tier (especially the Lemon AIDS walk one).

Lets not forget about the time that superhero fucking cheated in an aids walk. WTF kind of humor is that supposed to be?

It's one of those shows where you have to shut off your brain and take absolutely nothing about it seriously. It's meant purely for laughs and nothing more. I wish we had more shows like that in this day and age.

Princess Clara was anything but unlikeable
>hotter than hell
>kinky as fuck
>naive but ruthless when needed

Very true, I will say SOME of their edgy jokes were good but relying on "evil jew producers" every few minutes got stale fast. Also the gross out humor wasn't funny, it was just painful to watch.

It's shit that he basically became the main character in season 2 and 3, almost all of the episodes had him as the main role.

I don't get why they insisted on it existing. The creator(s) hated South Park so much they wanted to embarrass themselves by making a glorified Newgrounds cartoon to sling shit and only have it land on their face?
