>The working title is SPIDER-MAN: HOMEBOUND. They're still working on the script, so a lot could still change.
>Kraven and Scorpion are the villains. The story is supposed to over the course of three days.
>Spider-Man has disappeared after being framed for killing Mysterio, and Kraven is hired by Scorpion on behalf of New York’s crime families to bring him out of hiding and kill him.
>Peter and May are living in Florida under new identities provided by Nick Fury. He has faked evidence that Peter is not Spider-Man, but Peter still had to move away and cut ties with his friends for their own protection.
>Kraven manages to lure Spider-Man back to New York. Scorpion and his gang then lock the city down, turning Manhattan into a hunting ground for Kraven to chase his prey.
>The movie follows Peter as he evades both Kraven and the police, which still believe him to be a killer. Along the way, he ends up reconnecting with MJ, Ned, Betty and Flash.
>Kraven and Scorpion clash a lot because Kraven has a code not to hurt innocents during the hunt, while Scorpion wants to hurt as many people as possible to fuck with Spider-Man.
>There’s a comedic subplot being discussed about May and Happy heading back to New York to help Peter and getting into all sorts of problems.
>Jean DeWolff will be featured as the NYPD Captain leading the manhunt against both Spider-Man, who realizes Spider-Man is innocent and helps him.
>The tone will be a little more serious since we have villains actively trying to kill Spider-Man instead of him just getting in their way, but it will still be a fun and light movie.
>Sony wants a big actor like Michael Keaton and Jake Gyllenhaal for Kraven. They’ve tossed around some obvious names like Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa and Alexander Skarsgard, but the casting process hasn’t begun yet.
