I can't see the series getting picked for another season as much as I would want it to be. Since it's netflix, I feel like it would've already gotten confirmed for another season if it was going to continue. Which SUCKS, because I really really liked the worldbuilding they were doing, and it felt like the season ended with a lot of loose ends that totally could've made for another kickass season. Favorite islander was those buff dudes, they were cool and funny. Favorite human is probably the mom's friend, can't quite remember her name.

The buff guys were Mack and Beef House. The mom, who is named Judy, is friends with Kathy, the fun older lady.

Yeah, that's probably the most disappointing aspect. There was a lot of interesting ideas, like, what is Endless? Will Reggie reconcile with her dad? What is the Butt witch?

To me though, knowing what I know know about Julia Vickerman's taste in young boys I can't help but feel there is something very icky about so many plots dealing with pre-pubescent teens coming to terms with their sexuality. I can't shake it.

For that reason I'd be happier if it stays dead.

Personally, I think the real heart of the show are the characters themselves. I don't think lore is really the focal point. I like Endless, but I think it's more of a way to explore these ideas of growing up and exploring insecurities. than something that is supposed to be enjoyed in of itself.

The show is likely parodying the Big Bang Theory, which came out in 2007. Does this mean the show is around the mid 00's?
