At this point its a meme and a giant middle finger to the studio.

I guess they are clinging to the hope that the Snyder cut would make the movie.. decent. Instead of what we got

Because the JL we got was shit.
And everything is better than that

WB marketing and artificial hype/attention to draw attention away from the fact that JL was a giant piece of shit that flopped.

It's a meme. Everyone knows it will suck, but the Whedon cut also sucks so you may as well get the original one as well.

It's pretty obvious why when you think about it for 2 minutes

As someone who only watched Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman and wasn't really for me are any of the other DC movies worth watching?

I'm just in it for curiosity

I want to laugh at it

Shazam is a fun watch

Some people unironically enjoy the Synder DCEU and want a proper Justice League that actually works with the first two movies. I want too see what kind of trainwreck it was going to be before Whedon decided to Marvel it up and make it a bigger mess than it was.

This. Snyder's movies are so bad that you can laugh at them and meme about them endlessly. They're the perfect kind of awful movies. Whedon's JL is just boring and doesn't elicit any emotion whatsoever. Better to allow Snyder to do his thing one last time.

I really wonder what will be the final result

Shazam is fun. Wonder Woman is 2/3 of a good movie but really drops the ball in the last 1/3.

>Some people unironically enjoy the Synder DCEU

That's not true. Anyone who thinks they like Snyder's work is not a person.

Joker, Shazam, and Wonder Woman essentially. Maybe Aquaman depending on your tolerance for giant CGI battles that don't really serve a purpose.

They really aren't. You don't know what a bad movie is if you think Snyder's films are these huge laughing stocks.

Superman and Superman II
Batman and Batman Returns
Dark Knight trilogy by Nolan
Wonder Woman
Joker

We all know what's going to happen: it's going to (maybe) slightly less awful shit than what we got as with the BvS ultimate/final/whatever version. Snyderfags will still insist it's the greatest kino ever made. Everyone else will laugh.

So win-win for everyone.

>Shazam
Sure, if you are 11.

As far a big budget action blockbusters go they're pretty shit and have a bunch of unintentionally hilarious scenes, mostly BvS while MoS is just kinda boring disaster porn.

Because we can have it. I don't expect it to be any good, but it's funny watching the Twitter gestapo lose their shit over it.

A film doesn't have to be literally the worst thing ever made to be worth laughing at. This is a pretty common Snyderfag reverse defense, though.

Why are people so upset Snyder's getting what is essentially his version of the Donner Cut of Superman II?

Can you at least tell what is going on in the battles? Not that big on them but they can be ok if it isn't just a jumble mess.
I actually wasn't a fan of the Nolan Batman. But personally I am just tired of the solo grim Batman. Kind of like Batman being "Bad dad and his broken family" which don't know if people want that because they keep giving us 1989 Batman over and over again.

>but it's funny watching the Twitter gestapo lose their shit over it.

Que? Who's doing what now?

Who is upset?

It's not a great movie but the bar was set pretty low and it delivered a mostly ok movie. It has some of that Raimi Spider-Man vibe going for it and the plot isn't a complete clusterfuck like the Snyder abortions.

Because their political opponents i.e. the dreaded cis white male fans want it. Any victory for cis white males is a loss for the proggies, because if the studios started listening to the fans, the industry would be very different.

I laughed at BvS the first time, but I don't think I could watch it again. It was only because I went with friends and we just shit on it the whole time. The movie is shit, I'm just curious what else could've gone wrong.

No one's upset. I genuinely missed laughing at Snyderfags and his garbage the last few years. I'm really glad it's back.

The closest he ever came to making a good movie was 300, and that only worked because the comic is largely built as snapshots of scenes. It worked perfectly with Snyder's MTV cut style of directing and love of crappy filters. Watchmen was a trainwreck, Sucker Punch was a disaster and all the DC movies are terrible.

>but they can be ok if it isn't just a jumble mess
Yeah, they're a bit of a jumbled mess with the big battle scenes. It's not as bad as Bayformers or anything but it's still not something I particularly enjoyed.

>DCEU was a giant piece of shit that flopped
ftfy
After Birds of Prey failed too, they have probably no idea what to do next. Audience has barely any interest and hype for their product, so they force-started the hype machine with he Snyder Cut.
But they are not only really over estimating the number of people that give a fuck, it will also be an even bigger embarrassment when it will inevitably be shit as well.

Now this is some good Snyderfag posting. Everyone despises Snyder, even "the dreaded cis white male fans". The tiny but loud cadre of screaming moron babies threw a tantrum long enough that WB saw a marketing opportunity for their launching their new service.

There's been a host of articles written on why the Snyder's cut release is a bad thing:

> archive.md/zhdb8
> Why Releasing the ‘Justice League’ Snyder Cut Sets a Dangerous Precedent
> archive.md/scg6J

Even the Ghostbusters director is getting in on the action:

Also, fuck you for being disingenuous.

is she the woman that shitted on johnny Depp's bed?

synder fans are comedy gold

Don't get me wrong, I think it'd be shit. But it's a victory for the fans, another small step in the eternal culturekampf.

What's especially shit about Snyder is that his movies are worse than bad: they think they're smart and meaningful. You really can't even enjoy them as so-bad-they're-good because they're so painfully self-serious and tryhard.

At least some dumb action movie from the 80s knows what it is and you can enjoy that.

I'm more mildly annoyed by the fans that think his movies are cinematic masterpieces when they're barely above your bottom of the barrel popcorn action movies with a thin veneer of Christian iconography. Actually, that's being unfair to brainless action movies because at least the good ones don't bring down the action by being stuck up their own ass.

All the people who keep making nonstop threads about it while bitching about Snyder and calling anyone who says they like Snyder's movie every negative buzzword they can muster. It's frankly bizarre how much time and energy people still spend on shitting on Snyder's DC movies. It's some kind of weird identity politics thing to people, where they cannot abide by the fact that a movie they dislike has fans, so they have to finds ways to shit on them and somehow "own them" by laughing at them.

And I don't even count "i-it's going to suck anyway h-ha ha!" posters to that group.

Never mind than
>Man more money than any other DC movie
Fucking how?

So the "Twitter gestapo" is the director of Ghostbusters and some random writers. Got it.

>Also, fuck you for being disingenuous.

No friend, no one has any fucking clue what your paranoid delusional raving is about. But I do enjoy seeing a Snyderfag get mad, so please go on.

>twitter gestapo
>some random nobody from triple fucking j
Stop trying to act like a victim

What I meant was Shazam! is literally for children. Deliberately made like this. It's nothing bad, I mean children are customers too but it doesn't change the fact that Shazam! is a preteen flick.

>But it's a victory for the fans,

What fans? DC fans? They hate this shit more than anyone.

Were these all written by the same dude? They look copypasted.

Zack Snyder is one of the few good guys left in the movie industry if we're being honest. I always hated how all this comic book shit is such sanitized kiddy shit. Like what if Spider-Man was a pedophile? Now we're looking at something raw, real and provocative. He saves the city but he also abuses children. It has ambiguity.

Why the fuck are you aware of these articles in the first place faggot? Go back to Twitter where you can circlejerk about the last death rattle of the Snyderverse.

So you're annoyed because people have a difference of an opinion?

>when they're barely above your bottom of the barrel popcorn action movies

There's more thought put into them than most popcorn action movies though. Whether you appreciate or get anything out of that is another matter.

>What I meant was Shazam! is literally for children
So?

>It's frankly bizarre how much time and energy people still spend on shitting on Snyder's DC movies.

Why? It's fun and Snyderfags are valueless human garbage who deserve it.

Attached: horse.png (607x503, 67.57K)

Knowing Zack Synder takes himself as seriously as he does and watching a bunch of bats carry Bruce from a cave legitimately made my hysterically laugh. The rest was somber nonsense, but once martha was a thing I couldn't look away from the trainwreck

>where they cannot abide by the fact that a movie they dislike has fans

Liking Snyder is a moral wrong. That's why. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

>he says this on a comic and cartoon board where most of the cartoons we talk about are intended for children
Nothing bad with a kid-centered movie that has universal appeal, I'd gladly take that over a shitty movie trying to be dark and gritty for adults like the Snydershit.

And? Kid movies can be fun too. Stop being so insecure. Desperately not wanting to be seen as a kid is the hallmark of adolescence. Just like what you like and don't worry about who it's for.

Because it will cost them nothing to pirate it and it will given them something to bark on the internet about for months, if not years.
It may be awful, but that'll be enteraing, or it may be awesome, and that will be very interesting.
But its going to be one or the other, so why not?

Attached: Sherman.png (205x203, 86.85K)

I can imagine Snyder making Peter a vicious abusive wifebeater based on that one issue during the Clone Saga when he hit Mary Jane.

>So you're annoyed because people have a difference of an opinion?

But it's not a matter of opinion, user. It's a factual error.

So I wouldn't recommend it for an adult spectator, unless we are talking about family sunday movie evening or mom taking her kid to a cinema.
Exactly the same reason I wouldn't recommend any chick flick to a guy.

>There's more thought put into them than most popcorn action movies though. Whether you appreciate or get anything out of that is another matter.

A genuine 2DEEP4U Snyderfag defense in the wild. By gum, it's been a while. Truly we live in blessed times again.

I'm annoyed because most of the people with said opinion are some of the most vocal ones out there to the point it's become one big shitty meme.
>There's more thought put into them than most popcorn action movies though
I'll take a well-executed fast food burger over some gourmet restaurant serving shitty food. Effort means diddly squat if it's not executed right, it's like the gold star of participation. Not to mention there's a whole lot of dumb action movies out there that have far more craft put into them than the cinematic abortions Snyder make, they just aren't so fucking full of themselves.

>So I wouldn't recommend it for an adult spectator
So you're a faggot then
