Every generation has been progressively worse since the Greatest Generation. Silent Generation > Boomers > Gen X > Millennials > Gen Z > Gen Alpha, etc. If you think that Millennials are cancerous you haven't interacted with enough of Gen Z, and just wait 40 years for even more cancerous generations to be born. Every generation gets smarter than the previous, so it would make sense as to why older generations hate the younger generations, they're insecure about their intelligence so they lash out by saying younger generations are shit. When in reality, they're just getting better in every way. Gen Z will hate Gen Alpha, Get Alpha will hate Gen Beta, and the universe keeps expanding.

That's exactly my point. It's always bitching about the generation right above them while exempting the other earlier ones, and then espousing that your generation will somehow be fundamentally different and better. But it never is, it's the same as every other generation that came before and every other generation that will come after. Human behavior doesn't change and this isn't some magical exception because you're equating your identity to some arbitrary range of years people happened to be born in.
