i guess if i had to compare, i'd say that ATLA is a LOT more consistent in its quality, tone, and the general thrust of the plot.

but SU has higher highs for me. i prefer its artstyle, sense of humor, soundtrack, just overall style/aesthetics. when it gets them right anyway. also ATLA doesn't have deedee magno-hall singing in it.

I think it does I could give less of a shit what you think about it since my subjective taste matter most to me at the end of the day you can spout some bullshit about "X is better for Y reason" all day but it's not gonna make me stop enjoying something

yeah I'd probably say the same I can objectively look and see that as a whole ATLA is better structured and a more solid series but for me SU hit on such a personal level and has a lot of stuff I really enjoy characters, songs, artstyle, ect. that I would say I enjoy it more but they both have a lot going for it even if Zig Forums does choose to only really highlight the negatives of any given series they choose not to enjoy
