After a long time and quite a few sneak peaks LTC debuts tonight with the launch of HBO Max. Quite a few episodes composing of a couple of shorts each should be available tonight

bump for interest; Max launches in just a few minutes

I look forward to skimming through the beginning of each short to check the animation style and skipping 2/3 of them for being puppeted tweeny bullshit to find the 1/3 that actually had care put into them.

Here are the episodes up for now, 10 of them with each having multiple shorts. Unknown when more will debut

If they're not going to give Elmer a gun, they could do gags with other hunting tools. Him setting up bear traps, him following tracks to find a rabbit, that sort of stuff.

Elmer dosen't have a gun, half of the gags are uninspired, and the animation is inconcistent (sometime its fully animated the traditionnal way and literally the next shot its tweening)

the only thing i like is the designs of bugs and daffy.

I loved him as a kid, I loved him in LTS and Im glad Gossamer is back.

Stale. Can they really not come up with more interesting team ups? I'll give them a shit ton of credit if they don't have a single Bugs/Daffy short. I'll give then even bigger props if they do a Bugs/Daffy short that's not the Chuck Jones formula. Literally just a short where Daffy is fucking with Bugs good naturally and Bugs losing his mind because he cannot get away from this crazy duck. It would be kino and refreshing.

from the looks of things, they seem to have given Daffy his old personality of being an ADHD goof ball, I much prefer the cynical attitude

I can’t believe Warner propped this up as one of the flagship launch titles for their new streaming service that they‘ve sunk hundreds of millions of dollars into already between development, content deals, and advertising and they couldn’t spare enough to make it NOT PACKED FULL OF FUCKING TWEENING
Seriously only the Korean stuff looks acceptable, it’s entirely too distracting and cheap on everything else (which seems like a much larger percentage of the show)

Cynical Daffy gets old after being the sole version they used for 50 years. going back to what made the character popular originally is a breath of fresh air and is also a nice homage to Tex Avery and Bob Clampett who created the character.

Actually, the budget for this is identical to Wabbit, it's just just that more frames and keeping your layout /key frames in the States = less footage to animate is all, Snipple is the cheapest and hence they get the most footage while Yearim cost the most and has the least amount of footage.

Telecom should of done this instead of Tower of God, but the Animaniacs reboot will still be their best option they did the original series.

TMS nor it's subsidiary Telecom is working on the Animaniacs reboot so I don't understand how you can come to this cnclusion especially when there's 0 footage of the show so far.

Korea cost more then The Philippines, think about it, theres a reason why more and more shows stopped using Korea and thats because they got too expensive.

Sooner then later Nick will replace Rough Draft with Snipple on SpongeBob.

We know, Tower of God was a 2018 hold over that was held back because the creator wanted a Korean dub, Crunchyroll was will to fun the Korean dub hence why we got it in 2020 and that Telecom shut down it's TV unit after Tower of God and another unknown Korean Web Toon adaption produced at the same time was finish and that Telecom is now reserved on finishing Takeshi Koike's Lupin III feature contract (now at 3 out of the 5 films set) and that Telecom will be shut down once Takeshi Koike's contract is complete.

I watched through all the shorts: a vast majority are Yowza
There's a few Snipple shorts (all look better than Yowza's stuff), a few Yearim shorts (very distinct look to their animation) and a single god-tier looking Tonic DNA short

Tonic DNA >Snipple > non-tweeny Yowza shorts > Yearim > Yowza shorts with tweening
