Yeah it was kino. Villains were funny af. The show has soul and a good concept.

It's the worst Scooby-Doo cartoon, even Be Cool is better than this shit.

Also Shaggy's voice was shit, almost as bad as his Scoob voice.

>even Be Cool is better than this shit
You're saying that like Be Cool isn't the best series from the franchise.

What exactly made this bad? I never watched it before and the hatred for it is really interesting.

Nobody cares about the main characters, Dr. Phibes is what made it entertaining

People mostly dislike it because got rid of the usual Scooby-Doo formula in favor of a Venture Bros-esque action show.

The theme song is kino despite being a discount version of "One Fine Day" by the Offspring

It’s a little off the wall.
For one, instead of a bribe the Scooby snacks are infused with nanomachines that can temporarily transform Scooby or give him different super powers

Kids WB was at death's door by the time this show was made.

Korra Season 2

I thought the Scooby snack power-ups were awesome

Quintessentially early '00s

What's the difference between Kids WB and Cartoon Network? I remember both back in the day, but I could never find out what the distinction is.

Kids WB was just a timeslot on WB, which is now the CW. CartoonNetwork is a whole channel unto itself.

Pic related. Probably my favorite cartoon from the late noughties. Shit was fun as fuck.

Zoomers should be banned on principle.

I normally hate it when retarded foreigners call 0 "nought", but "noughties" is probably the best thing to call the 00s.

The best thing of the show were the bad guys

I actually liked this as a kid, but then I read a couple of the books and went around bitching to everyone about how much they changed on the playground. Looking back it's no wonder I ended up here.

From what I remember, Kids WB mostly aired their own stuff and dubbed anime. While CN had their own shows, Hanna-Barberas stuff, and only some of Kids WB's shows and anime dubs, and a couple of WB shows being produced exclusively for CN (Duck Dodgers and Justice League Unlimited)
There were a few Kids WB shows that didn't air on CN, Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue being one of them, it's probably why so many people say they don't remember seeing it whenever pic related gets passed around online

I definitely remember Phibes more than the rest of the show, mostly due to Maurice LaMarche doing that German accent.

Shut up fatty

It wasn't that bad

Oh wow Shaggy's voice is really annoying, I grew up with the hispanic dub which had the original voice

This does not exist. I've never seen footage of it. There is one picture of the Scooby Gang in this style, and this is just Shag and Scoob cropped and pasted onto a different background. I watched a lot of TV during this time, and this was never on. I don't believe in the Bearstain Effect, but this is as close as I've come to it.

Why the fuck do they look like Jay & Silent Bob.

...Who'd buy weed off of who if they met?

No, the show existed.

As I recall, Shaggy's uncle or whatever is a super scientist and is infiltrating Dr Phibe's operations, and Shaggy and Scooby basically inherit his mansion and robotic butler in the meantime.

Dr Phibe's is trying to steal the nano-tech scooby snacks that allow Scoob to do all kinds of super-power stuff, so the show has a bit of spy and espionage action going on. It's not a mystery show and doesn't purport to be.

The show had a proper conclusion as well with its 26 episode run.
Incidentally, Casey Kasem did return to do voice work for the show, but not as Shaggy, but instead as his uncle Albert Shaggleford.
