Ehhh... I appreciate that it didn’t fuck around for any episodes but I feel it was kind of a step down from 3 & 4. They crammed too much into one season and it all felt a bit rushed and convenient.
Still a good season overall and a satisfying conclusion though.

This is probably right though. Adora was the Golden Child, she got preferential treatment over everyone else, which means she probably never got as jaded and cynical as the other kids who would have had to scrap and fight outside the training simulations, unlike her. It’s probably why she was less questioning and bought into the propaganda too, your less likely to question a system when it works in your favor.

This show would have worked better as an original series so that they didn't have to shoehorn their ideas into an existing franchise. It would have let them have more creative freedom with the characters and the universe.

Honestly, my only issue with She-Ra is that the action scenes are honestly BLAAAAAAAAAAND. Like...compare the action scenes from Kipo to this and the difference is astounding. No sakuga scenes? For shame.

Yep, no Sakuga scenes like in Rise Of The TMNT, K.O. and Kipo really hurts this.

For what it’s worth, I agree but I’m pretty sure it’s Dreamworks deciding what they fund and approaching writers rather than them accepting open pitches.
I’m not a fan of the worldbuilding but I don’t know what they could have done when they inherited a setting where the primal elements of the world include nets, scorpions and prehensile hair. The best thing to do is not focus too much on worldbuilding and that’s what they did.
