What characters should get their own standalone movies? Trilogies? I want a Silver Surfer movie.

Ghost Rider comes to mind.

is it too much to ask to have a Veil+Cloud 9 lesbian road trip buddy action movie?

D+ > Silver Surfer, Wolverine, Howard the Duck, Namor, Johnny Blaze and Jessica Drew.

Tigra, Squirrel Girl, Ka-Zar, MODOK and Mojo too.

>MODOK
They should definitely do something with him. Oddly enough I think his Iron Man TAS backstory was done pretty well given the limitations of the show.

Ideally, I would give She-Hulk a movie of her own as a way to provide a stealth-Hulk sequel and close our Banner's story. But she is getting a D+ series, so I guess that will have to do.

A Nova movie as a kind of ''the last sherif in the old west" kind of story after Zandar and the Nova corp gets wrecked by Thanos and the snap causes chaos across the galaxy for 5 years could be fun. Use it to sort of set the stage and establish what the cosmic side of marvel looks like post-Thanos outside of the little corners of it that Thor and the Guardians care about.

Jessica Drew, ultimate version, used as the POV character for a movie or two that takes the idea of the clone saga and runs with it, but expands the concept to have the clones be not just of spiderman but other heroes as well. Lets you get free SJW points for include a character with a confused gender identity without the real world baggage, and have fun with 'imperfect clone' versions of other established MCU characters to round out the supporting cast or villain rosters.

The only thing that makes me not interested is Dana "I hate men an I am a Hypocrite" Schwartz.

Who the fuck is Dana Schwartz?

writer of She-hulk show

He's coming

Silver Surfer throwing out a bunch of quippy retorts no thanks

F4 trilogy where Reed slowly becomes Maker, and is the main villain of the following Avengers movie. Doom shows up at the end and saves the day, but only to stick it to Richards.

Imo they would probably handle him more in line with how they did Vision. In other words the quips will be left mostly to his surrounding characters.
The fantastic four movie from a couple of years ago more or less did a good job with Silver Surfer as far as his personality is concerned.

Why would that matter for a hypothetical movie?

>where Reed slowly becomes Maker, and is the main villain of the following Avengers movie
They need to do this gimmick in general, no matter if it's Reed or someone else.
The format lends itself well to a slow descend into madness over the course of a few films.

I just think going the Maker route is the only way to make Reed interesting. Can you imagine how many fangirls Maker would have if he was in an MCU film? “Oh he’s so broody, I can’t believe Sue is such a bitch” good lord, it would make Loki look like a dweeb.

Fangirls wouldn't like Maker, because the Maker is inherently a nerdy boys power fantasy. "He is super smart and going to fix the world with his vastly superior intelligence. Just like me, no one appreciates his brilliance but the foolish normies are too dumb to have a hope of stopping him. Gamers, rise up~!"

He doesn't tick any of the emotionally damaged or vulnerable boxes that invite fangirls to fantasize about 'fixing' him.

user's been so busy hate-fapping to nice jewish girls on the internet he lost track of the point he was trying to make to you

Kino

The absolute shit-taste of thinking that the Maker is a good character.

>What characters should get their own standalone movies? Trilogies? I want a Silver Surfer movie.
>Logan
>FF
>SS
>Spider-Man 2099
>GR
>Hulk

He’s rumored to be in AM3

They really screwed us by not featuring Nova or Adam Warlock when they BOTH could’ve appeared and were already either mentioned, alluded to, or set up. Xandar being blown up by Thanos should’ve given us Rich.

>Who the fuck is Dana Schwartz
A semite who probably hates men

>Silver Surfer
>Two-Gun Kid/Rawhide Kid
>Warlock
>Longshot
>Daredevil
>Ghost Rider
>Cable
>Man-Thing
>Blonde Phantom

They really need to do my boy justice

It still can. You just start a Nova movie with a flashback to the fall of Xandar and have Rich be the only Nova survivor.

Moon Knight movie when?

Here are some boards from the unmade Silver Surfer (1997). I couldn't find much

Do you really? Modern MCU Silver Surfer:
>Shot of New York
>Follows day in the life of your every day girl whos struggling to keep up with modern New York life
>"Life's been different since the blip, I just cant seem to shift things back into gear!"
>"Well get moving or find yourself another job!"
>Shot of her upset outside the city
>Surfer crashes from the sky
>Slow reveal of him in a crater
>"You're... you're silver"
>"I need your help!"
>Music starts
>Montage of action
>Cut to them walking the streets of New York with people staring at Surfer
>"Wait, so you're an alien from out of space? And you need MY help or the earth will be destroyed?"
>"Well not to elevator pitch it but pretty much"
>"And here I was worried about my rent..."
>Montage of military hunting down Surfer
>Music stops
>"Surf's up dude!"
>"You didnt just say that."
>Quick cut of action shots set to DUN DUN DUN DUN
>Low angle shot of Galactus, only dressed in some tech heavy black suit
>"Anyone know Ant Mans number?"
>Music picks up as Silver Surfer logo fades in
>Music cuts again
>"Whats this "TikTok?"
>"Oh its an app for singing to internet strangers"
>Cut to Silver Surfer butchering "Single ladies"
>"Yeah, lets not do that again"
>Out Summer 2021

I hate how fucking accurate that is. Especially the ""joke"" at the end of every trailer

>"Wait, so you're an alien from out of space? And you need MY help or the earth will be destroyed?"
>"Well not to elevator pitch it but pretty much"
I can totally see this line in a Marvel film
