Ok, recently watched Tales of Ba Sing Se and loved it. But what was Zuko's problem? Why couldn't he allow himself to have a little fun?

i do think zuko is clearly disinterested in low class women and mai was always his waifu.

it's a symbolic thing by this point Zuko isn't readyy to give up on his family and nation he still wants all of it back and getting in a relationship with Jin would be like finally admitting that he will never be back to his home

Dude was on a ship at sea with only guys for however many years and didn't really interact with many people aside from his uncle. Heck even before then he wasn't exactly social and his primary interaction with girls were his mom who left and his sister + her friends who were cunts to him. No shock he was awkward
