>The first episode of Doom Patrol season 2 features both a return from an old friend and the debut of a new, important character. Mark Sheppard, who previously worked with showrunner Jeremy Carver on Supernatural, returns in the season 2 premiere episode for another guest star turn as Willoughby Kipling. An occult detective with wry British humor, Kipling makes John Constantine look well-adjusted by comparison.
>A lot of crazy things happened in Doom Patrol season 1, but it's important to remember two of the final events. Every member of the team got shrunk down to Ant-Man size except for Negative Man (voiced by Matt Bomer, physically performed by Matthew Zuk), and they got introduced to Dorothy Spinner (Abigail Shapiro). The daughter of the Chief (Timothy Dalton) who he had hidden away for decades, Dorothy possesses the power to make her imaginary friends become real. It's a unique ability that does have some parallels with the multiple personalities of Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero).

Hopefully we get a trailer soon, though the one for the first season came out like a week before the premier so it might not happen yet.
finally something to look forward to
Everything except the last episode was great
Is Mr Nobody in the comics still technically a god of some kind?
best live action dc show desu
Sweet of them to throw a tea party for Dorothy to welcome her into the family.
I notice that Danny the Brick is in both posters. Is they officially a member of the team now?
Still shilling your shitty shows for your dead streaming services?
Here's a (you).
I'd argue yes.
Why do they downplay how much Matt Bomer is actually in this show? He's way more than just the voice.
Mister Nobody in the comics has never been an omnipotent reality warper like he was in the show.
His main power is just making other people go insane.
>His main power is just making other people go insane.
Fucking wrong
Also, I'm talking about the stuff after his daughter gave birth to Milkman Man, which i'm guessing you don't know about
Finally we get news, I thought it would get delayed because of Corona.
>monkeyface bitch
Oh shit finally.
>Cyborg
>again
Oh come on what the fuck.
They better turn Negative man into a hermaphoridite like in the comics btw.
Cyborg worked though. The straightman helped the show.
The most important question is:
Will Elastigirl actually show off her giant powers this season?
Does this character predate Constantine or is it a parody of him?
He's a homage to him because Morrison couldn't use Constantine
waid sucks as an editor and couldn't convince Art Young to let Morrison use Constantine in Doom Patrol.
So Morrison created a similar character. The funny thing is that Morrison wrote a two-part Hellblazer story for Art Young at the same time as this, and the issues came out at around the same time.
It happened a third time too. Stuart Moore blocked the writer of the "Stanley and his Monster" miniseries from using Constantine as well, so that writer created a guy who kept complaining that people confused him for being Constantine
they already had several episodes filmed before the virus hit
I love complicated character rights situations and the pettiness that goes alongside them.
just sayingthat , if they get HBO series money, they can do some awesome stuff with Doom Patrol
How does negative man become a hermaphrodite?
Comic books.
The spirit got angry that he got rid of him so he fused him with a doctor chick.
>doom patrol
Holy shit those comic books were weird as fuck
Iirc there was another actor playing negative man, Matt just did the voice
That’s not saying much
Look's like cape kino is back on the menu.
It's nice of them to include Danny in these posters
Bomer plays him in non-bandage scenes, flashbacks, memories, etc.
