"I'll tell you whats gonna happen! If Warner Brothers and DC don't get their act together and give us the definitive Superman movie people want to see, Marvels just gonna do it for them using a Superman expy! Mark my fucking words!"

Well people see her as being as wooden as Cavills superman, and only slightly less of an asshole.

>incels
>people

In terms of character, Cap was the closest analogue. He may not have the powers, but he's inspirational in the same way. And now he's retired. I am looking forward to The Falcon and Winter Soldier, though, but it just isn't the same as having a new Cap movie. Guess we'll see.

Put her in the bodysuit with the mask and hooker boots, and I might consider sneaking into the theater.

>He may not have the powers, but he's inspirational in the same way.

Captain America at least has the benefit of being a normal person (super serum notwithstanding) and therefore is an underdog. Superman? He doesn't have that.

A Hyperion movie would be nice. But only for the purity involved in his bromance with Thor.

>Superman? He doesn't have that.
When you consider his "power level". But put him in an arena where such power isn't an asset. Or could even be a liability. This is the problem, people keep thinking I NEED VILLAINS THAT CAN PUNCH HIM THROUGH SIX BUILDINGS!!!! When that isn't what makes Superman inspirational. Put him through a moral crisis. Give him a quandry. Even if he doesn't question himself, his unwavering stand in the face of evil, of people that will try and make him choose in a no-win situation, will be inspirational in and of itself. Nobody believes in purity of being, in the morality of men. Give them a reason to.

She doesn't have a body to deliver, I rather have her in the tracksuit instead

Zack Snyder is that you?

By definition we're people too

>definitive Superman movie people want to see
People don't want to see a superman movie PERIOD

But DCucks are too fucking retarded to realize this simple fact

if bot-generated headlines upset you OP don't read them

not by your definition, by your definition you're missing something and that's why you can't participate in normal human activities

you're p-zombies by your own admission, not human

>People don't want to see a superman movie PERIOD
I do

And you're important user

No, not Captain HRT. Someone like Hyperion or Sentry.

>People don't want to see a superman movie PERIOD
People want Superman Movies. But what they don't want is to watch the same movie again.
Marvel was aware of this when they got Spider-Man back and ensured not even the damn spider bite was mentioned about Holland's iteration. They said "Here's a kid with spider based super powers doing superhero stuff. Enjoy new stories and new foes."

We saw supes origin, we saw Zod. We need new stuff.

The difference is that it had been 35 years since we saw Superman's origin on the big screen, for Spider-man it had been 5, and we had seen it 10 years before that as well

>The difference is that it had been 35 years since we saw Superman's origin on the big screen, for Spider-man it had been 5, and we had seen it 10 years before that as well
Man Of Steel was 7 years ago

People who matter.

Superman works well that way.
Have him in the background, and as a supporting character.
Then when you have the big event movie, Superman gets the spotlight for the final third act.

I meant it had been 35 years before Man of steel that we last saw Supes origin

Superman isn't supposed to be an underdog, he's an ideal, he's supposed to be the peak of humanity

>I meant it had been 35 years before Man of steel that we last saw Supes origin
the Superman TAS was a thing

I did say "on the big screen" in my original post

fair

>Put him through a moral crisis. Give him a quandry.

Please, let's give mopey, brooding Superman a rest.
