Yeah, but that wouldn’t have gone much further without the Teen Titans cartoon, it was definitely the show that brought an entire new generation to ship Dick and Kori despite the comics not doing much with them at the time, and Garfield and Rachel despite them not being not a thing until then.

Why is everything about self inserting into a character, can't a person just find a character interesting and hope things go well for him?

So we had a Raven solo YA book, followed by a Beast Boy solo YA book, and this was all leading up to a big shipping crossover.

The Raven book was kind of bland and I never bothered reading the Beast Boy book. Has Garcia figured out how to write for comics yet?

Kinda hard to be reading the beast boy book when it isn't even out yet (september 8), this probably was someone messing up and actually leaking things WAY too early - probably a reviewer who got a early copy.
