Don't know where to buy? Try these: amazon.com/ (known to manhandle books with bad packaging) instocktrades.com/ (worldwide shipping, often has sales) mycomicshop.com (worldwide shipping) cheapgraphicnovels.com/ ebay.com/ alibris.com/ (Amazon alternative, it doesn't have the usual fees, it ships worldwide and accepts PayPal) [your local comic shop here]
omar's video on the jonah hex hardcover is a little embarrassing
>I think the stories are set in the 1850s? Old west at least >this issue has definitely been recolored
Dylan Russell
second for terrible customer service from Heavy Metal
Juan Watson
you contacted them? What happened?
Justin Roberts
nothing happened I emailed them about an order that showed up and they never responded looked on the reddit, seems like a common issue with this last sale
Ethan Taylor
*that never showed up
Nicholas Richardson
I don't think they are shipping right now, they should have stated that clearly though.
Nolan Richardson
New stuff arrived yesterday. The New Kingdom Vol2,4-6
Vol3 I already had and Vol1 I didn't realize after placing my order that it was out of stock. So until they get some more copies I'm stuck with volumes 2-6
hell, if they just said it would be a couple months from COVID or something, thats fine. Leaving people in the dark is a great way to get a bunch of charge-backs and lose repeat customers
Brayden Anderson
this looks super interesting. Tell me more about it
William Gray
Haven't read it yet so I can't tell you much but the art is amazing. It took Katz 12 years to finish this story, its a mix of sci-fi and fantasy
From Wikipedia >The story opens on a new, post-nuclear era with tribes fighting for survival on a primitive, fantastic Earth filled with gods and monsters. Gods meddle in human affairs, their appearance, temperament and vices resembling the gods of Ancient Greece. The story spans generations and has a huge cast of characters.
I'm intrigued by this but not enough to blind buy. I found a torrent of the cbr's on rutracker if anyone else like me wanted to sample them.
Camden Ward
Yeah that's also what I usually do. I did blind buy this one because a friend of mine recommended it but usually I will try to find a few issues online before buying anything

Download finished. Ayy I see you suckering me in with those full page spreads. Look at all these fucking words
Fuck thats the first volume right? I was checking out the second and third volumes and most of those are either full page spreads or two panel pages like this one.
I hope there aren't many pages like that. Reading it in HC is going to suck, the font size in those is pretty small
Got some other stuff more Zig Forums then Zig Forums being Urasawa's Monster and Flowers of Evil. Alias Omni was a bit of a steal of 130 AUD, in good condition.
Vision HC is such a ripoff. Literally half the book is script. Can't wait to sell the fucking thing when it goes OOP.
Jose Green
I found an announcement from last year that supposedly the Marvel Epics X-Men first volume went back in print in November. Did that actually happen and everything is sold out again or did it get cancelled?
Jordan Carter
I need to buy a new shelf. I already got three full tall book cases and I keep buying books.
Noah Cook
Don't worry, I found copies in a local warehouse store. Anyway now I have all of X-Men Epic Collection on there way here, so now I just have to keep on top of new copies so I don't get fucked by OOP.
Speaking of, what are your favourite Marvel Epic's releases? I also have Kraven's Last Hunt and Venom from Spider-Man, and enjoyed them both.
I'm imagining they won't cut the line because just about everything is out of stock, so it must be selling.
Jackson Cooper
I only won one out of six or seven lots from the same seller, collecting 25 issues of Avengers, #323-346. They're super forgettable stories, and I want to back out of paying, but I don't want to be one of >those people
Man, this sucks. I would have killed to have won some of the Stern stories. I'm positive I was outbid by only 50ยข too.
Ryan Myers
That's Marvel for ya.

I didn't get many trades this week, wanting to cut back on internet orders and focus on my LCS. Most of what I got from them is single issues that I don't feel like getting out for a photo. Maybe if the thread is still around when I get home tonight.
I've vaguely recalled seeing some high praise for the adaption of Bram Stoker's Dracula some time ago, and when I came across them and saw it was Mignola on art I understood why.
I've never read much Tim Drake Robin stuff, but I've been meaning to reread Death in the Family(which I have in a similarly aged trade to this) and figured this Lonely Place of Dying would be a nice companion piece.
For Kings in Disguise I have to thank the storytime of the Best Single Issue Eisner winners. I didn't read it, but it reminded me that I had been planning to buy as much as I could from that list. Does anyone know a convenient way to find all the nominations across the years?
I've given up on Morrison's Action Comics getting an omni anytime soon and just decided to get the trades. There was a little bit of deliberation on format because I know Grant likes to write with single issues in mind, but I picked up so many other back issues that I needed to compromise somewhere.
