I agree that it has been exaggerated and more and more. I think it's somewhat of a moneymaking scheme, but if it helps people who are really desperate at least it could be a good thing. Additionally, the brain is too complex for neuroscience to show that autism is actually a real or provable thing, hence it belongs in the realm of psychology which is easier to bullshit.
