I watched the series in 2018 (it wasn't aired in my country) right after my GF left me, and the show's madness really helped me. I just love everything about it. The story, the world, the characters and mostly the soundtrack. After the main series, I watched Florpus' trailer and I went totally crazy because I fell in love with its art style.

i watched the show as a kid but didnt remember much
so when florpus came out and i watched it, i immediately after went and rewatched the whole original series and caught unto a lotta things i missed as a kid, esp a kid who didnt know english.
florpus doesnt even come close to being as good as the og tho imo. even the art which is beautiful by itself, just doesnt look like IZ and doesnt carry the same cold, filthy feel of the og show

IMO the art style improved. Sure it has more color and yeah it isn't filthy, BUT the high FOV, the high purple-red color looks crazy good. +Everything looks more detailed, Zim's house and the underground base look way bigger, just like the Massive. Even smaller stuff like the pic related Irken Empire symbol and Irken Symbol looks much better. Florpus' art style has more madness feeling than the old one, but sadly it's the only thing which is better in Florpus.

Haven't even bothered to watch florpus (just by looking at the useless redesigns with the round lines and the cheerful bright colors), but I did read a bit of the comics and it just wasn't the same; nowhere near as dark and entertaining.
