Not every divorce is the same. A friend of mine is divorced but still lets his ex-wife live with him and has said he probably will until their kids are old enough to go to college. They generally act more like roommates with each other but split parenting duties about like they would if they were still together. For them it was just a really amicable divorce and he didn't want to kick her out and cause strain on the kids. He's in a relationship with another woman who sometimes stays with them and his girlfriend and ex-wife get along well. She's said at some point she may find her own place but neither of them are really in a rush to change the situation because it's not hostile. Not every divorce ends with throwing the good dinnerware at each others heads.

If you're big into cooking they're a pretty decent investment and the pasta rollers/cutters are a pretty good value add. If you keep your eyes open for sales you can find a decent one for ~300, which sounds like a lot but if you're the type that will actually use it, it can actually end up saving you money in the long run.
