I've seen a lot of bad cartoons in my lifetime and let me tell you Thundercats Roar is not one of them, the show is just okay, it's harmless it's no even one of the worst things ever, there are a lot of worse cartoons out there such as;

Its one of the few shows currently airing that manage to make me at least chuckle once per episode but I get why people don't like it.
I think it's the principle of action cartoon turned into a comedy show with ugly character designs I.E. TTG that turns people off.

That's where binge dumps get you. I myself struggle to find free time to catch up with various stuff before relevant threads expire. And when you gulp down batches of episodes wholesale you're less likely to rewatch them and remember what they were about. This all makes it difficult to discuss anything on a regular basis.

the problem people have with it is one part the legacy of thundercats (an action show yet again being rebooted as a hyperactive comedy), and one part a concerted effort by the industry to say 'fuck the old fans', 'the previous 2 iterations sucked', and 'this isnt for you'
and honestly, if the industry didnt fight so hard to take a dump on old fans, i think more people here would give the show a chance. you can tell the people who made it at least enjoyed the original, as theres plenty of callbacks throughout

ThunderCats Roar is a highly competent action cartoon despite going out of its way to be very comedic. It does goofy things AND cool action sequences. No sequence is "wasted" on this show.

Yeah, Thundercats Roar is basically a mix of OKKO (with uglier designs) and TTG, and it came out at the height of the calarts controversy. This show was dead on arrival.
