It's good

Zig Forums generally likes it. There's kind of a split where most people think it was fantastic while a minority thinks it was shit.

First 4 seasons are great. The rest are average.

Okay, which e-celeb reviewed it?

Wanna know what happened to the guy that made its intro?

Mr. Enter's editor is making his Nick-O-Rama with CN shows

It’s the best cartoon Cartoon Network ever had.

Boomer trash

>doesn't understand SGC2C's humor, shitting on its animation quality, even though the show had to be created with almost zero budget at the beginning
>absolutely shits on Dexter's Lab, calling it worse than Johnny Test
>doesn't understand I Am Weasel, thinks it's inferior to Cow and Chicken
>says Johnny Bravo WOULDN'T work in this era, doesn't understand him either
>acts as a storyfag, moralfag and bronyfag all in one
He's as autistic as Enter.

This is Millenial/Zoomer territory

One of the GOATs of animation and a timeless masterpiece.

Great show overall, with good slapstick, comedy and voice acting. Hill, Vincent and Sampson really have a great chemistry in the VA department.

A bit off-topic, but isn't it weird that the Cartoon Cartoons that always were pretty consistent in quality were produced outside of Hanna-Barbera / Cartoon Network Studios?
>Ed, Edd n Eddy - A.K.A. Cartoon in Vancouver, Canada
>Courage - Stretch Films, Inc. in New York
>Kids Next Door - Curious Pictures in New York
Hell, Ed Edd n Eddy is the first Cartoon Network Original that was greenlit without a pilot.

I think it's the only canadian cartoon where the canadian VA's are actually great. I hate Matt Hill's voice in every other cartoon, but him and everyone else sounds like they had a better director in this one.

Very kino. And the face of old CN.

>Danny got the show by just faxing CN a single drawing of the three Eds with a tagline
>That's it, they didn't ask for a pilot or proof of concept or anything, they just straight up ordered the series based on a single image
Blows my fucking mind, I really want to know how that whole event went down because even in the context of the 90s that's fucking insane

>Danny pitches a show with only one drawing in 1996 via fax to both Nick and CN
>Nick demands creative control over the IP and that the show is produced at Games Animation / Nickelodeon Studios
>Danny fucking refuses like a chad
>CN gives in
I still don't know how he did it, but damn I wish I was Chadtonucci.

The only ones that turned shit were Dexter, PPG and Johnny Bravo depending on who you ask, everything else was great from start to finish.

Still holds up even when I rewatched some episodes as an adult. Especially liked the one where Ed got a pebble in his shoe and went ape shit

>*has full control over the IP of your network's longest-running series and biggest hit of the late 90s and early 2000s in your path*
There will never ever be a guy like /ourguy/ Danny!

Not meant to shit on shows like Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel and Billy and Mandy. But it's still weird that 1/3rd of the Cartoon Cartoons were produced outside HB/CN Studios.

They're dorks

It's a boomer show

It's much easier for the creators to work at their animation studios since it would be expensive to travel to CN all the time.

The fuck does that even mean? You're not saying anything about your opinion or the quality of it, you're just saying "older people watched it".

Did anyone ever find the lost episodes?
> Luck be an Ed Tonight - Ed's horoscope says that it's his Lucky Day, and Eddy is trying to milk Ed's luck for all it's worth
>A Room for an Ed - Sarah and Jimmy is kicking Ed from his room to turn it Into their personal playroom
>The Amazing Ed - a Talent Show episode, not much info is about it
>Special Ed - the most famous lost episode, it was allegedely scrapped for being "Too real"
Special Ed is dead, but where are the rest?

>Boomers, also known as baby boomers, are people born between the late 40s and the early 60s; shows that could be akin to be boomer shows are shows that premiered in the 50s and 60s like Ruff and Reddy, Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw, Yogi Bear and The Flintstones
>Millennials, also known as Gen Y, are people born between the early 80s and the mid 90s; shows that could be akin to be 'millennial shows' are shows that aired in the 80s and 90s like Ren and Stimpy, 13 Ghosts, Rocko's Modern Life, PPG, Batman: TAS, Cave Kids, Muppet Babies and Ed Edd n Eddy

Perhaps more so

I haven't seen those top two synopses in years, bottom two I've never seen

Reminder that these exists, some rare Ed Edd n Eddy related bumpers
