Aquaman:King of Atlantis:
>HBO Max has announced that they are moving forward with a three-part DC animated mini-series titled Aquaman: King of Atlantis. The series will be executive produced by the film’s director James Wan through his Atomic Monster production company.

>It’s said that each of the standalone episodes will have “a unique storyline following the adventures of Aquaman as protector of the deep.” The series begins with “Aquaman’s first day on the job as king of Atlantis and he’s got a LOT of catching up to do. Luckily, he has his two royal advisors to back him up – Vulko, the scholar, and Mera, the water controlling warrior-princess. Between dealing with unscrupulous surface dwellers, elder evils from beyond time and his own half-brother who wants to overthrow him, Aquaman is going to have to rise to the challenge and prove to his subjects, and to himself, that he’s the right man for the trident!”

DC Strange Adventures and Green Lantern:
>Television super-producer Greg Berlanti’s ever-expanding screen interpretation of the DC Comics Universe is going cosmic with two new series for the HBO Max streaming platform: Strange Adventures and a Green Lantern-inspired show.

>“Both of these original DC properties we’ll be creating for HBO Max will be unlike anything seen on television,” said Berlanti, who announced both projects Tuesday at the HBO Max WarnerMedia Day presentation. “An anthology series of cautionary tales set in a world where superpowers exist, and, in what promises to be our biggest DC show ever made, we will be going to space with a Green Lantern television series, but I can’t reveal any more about that just yet.”

Yes

What is it about people and putting DC characters in High School

It's based on DC Super Hero Girls.

wow is this for real?

>he doesn't know about the cancelled Gotham High animated series

Doom Patrol season 2 will also be on HBOMAX. To say the truth, I wish they just moved all their shows on HBOMAX and cancelled DCUniverse.

Yes.

Yeah

Oh god Elizabeth Banks... so the show is going to be hot garbage isn’t it

This one isn’t real

Strange Adventures seems interesting but from the sound of it the premise sounds similar to Powerless’s original concept

You mean Super Hero High? Right? We don't know much about Strange Adventures other than the showrunner saying it's something never done before in a DC show, it sounds like it could be on a big budget.

Where's the source?

No Strange Adventures

>> An anthology series of cautionary tales set in a world where superpowers exist

And from the image of the poster focusing on the people on the ground looking up it really has a powerless vibe which isn’t necessarily a bad thing the og premise for the show sounded great before they changed it

>An anthology series of cautionary tales

So, it's The Twilight Zone with superheroes?

Sounds like, which inherently is a pretty neat idea but I wonder how it’ll fare in execution

Is there a source for this? I don't want to get my hopes up.

Someone keeps spreading it and samefagging his posts

Don’t get your hopes up, it clearly isn’t

Why can't DC/HBOMAX make good DC shows on an actual budget? Like an actual Superman or Batman series or even Justice League? WHY? It can be 10 episodes per season but atleast make something good.

Well Doom Patrol Stargirl and Swamp Thin gn have all been pretty fantastic

Is it true?

I don’t know what you mean

Is it true they are fantastic? What? Are you retarded?

>Aquaman finally gets a cartoon.
>it's like 3 episodes
Why though? I bet we will get another Batman/Batspinoff show they dedicate 2 seasons worth of production to starting out just like they did with Harley Quinn.

Because this one is canon with Aquaman from James Wan. It's set after Aquaman 1 and before Aquaman 2.

There’s no need to be rude user, next time just make your post with more descriptives like “Is it true they are fantastic?” It just makes things easier

And yes all three are great, it’s a shame Swamp thing got Shafted after the first episode though
